Have you tried sleeping with a pillow between your legs?
also if been awake a while go downstairs for a bit have a drink or something otherwise you get worked into a state about being awake these helped me. So worth a try.

Hey hun, I've got a pregnancy relaxation cd which I sometimes listen to on my ipod which really does the job and I usually doze off before the end. I can sympathize with the not being able to get comfortable, I used to sleep on my tummy and I can't get used to not doing that!

I'm not really sleeping at the moment either hunni so completely know how you feel. My problem is I usually get hot/itchy feet and start getting restless so I have to get up and put some cucumber moisturiser on them then switch our fan on directed at my feet to keep them cool. That usually does the trick for a few hours then a need to repeat the process, dh thinks I'm going mad LOL!

Know that feeling too hunni - I am soooo happy that I'm pregnant and really want this baby but lately all I seem to do is moan because I constantly feel awful and than I feel guilty for moaning. Honestly can't remember the last time I had a day where I was chirpy or didn't pick a fight with my dh for no reason xxx

not sleeping

We went to a parenting class on Monday night and there was a section in it where the physio came in and showed us a few sleeping positions which looked soooo comfy (gawd knows where your other half goes mind!).

One was lying on your left side and tucking a pillow behind your back and a pillow in front of you for your tummy to be supported on. Then you can either put your right leg over or put another pillow inbetween your legs for support.

Second one was just piling all the pillows up and sleeping half sitting up. I think this one was more for later on in pregnancy but it looked good!

Another thing was to put a duvet on top of your mattress to soften it a little.

I'm the same though, I've started waking up several times through the night just not comfy at all. Arm is numb, leg is numb, fed up lying on my left hand side but every other position feels strange! Ah well only another 20 weeks to go!!

I'm not sleeping either! Finding it very hard to get comfy and as my back's so sore, changing position hurts! Getting out of bed takes ages, too.

Am going to try a Genii pillow and see if that helps.
