I've only just started to buy a few bits. I was going to wait until after my 20 week scan (this Monday) before I bought anything, but Tesco have a baby fair on at the mo. I bought a steriliser and some bottles today - planning on breast-feeding, but not sure how long for. It'll definitely be going onto bottles at some stage, and I got the steriliser & bottles 1/2 price, so was well worth getting it now.

I was looking on eBay the other day - loads of brand new stuff on there and much cheaper than in the shops. Thinking about getting moses basket, stand and bouncy chair from eBay, if nothing else. I have a cot from when my little boy was born (he's 7 1/2 now), but got rid of nearly everything else. I'd borrowed a pram for him from my cousin, so will have to buy one this time round.

we have been given so much stuff that to be honest I have problems remembering what we have!! I know we have the following that have been donated by my sis (she had a major clearout!) -

cot
crib
highchair
carseat
steriliser
bottles (need to buy teats)
muslins
bibs
toys, toys and yet more toys!!
gro-bags x2
all sorts of clothes
milk measuring tubs

We have bought (well, I have LOL! ) -

Nursery chair
vests
some clothes
nappies
sleepsuits

I really need to get the nursery finished so I can get everything away and make a list of what we have and what we need.

Oh! I have 3 muslins too... was at a BodyShop party last week and ordered a pack of muslin cloths, they came yesterday and they are soooo soft and lovely! I was going to buy the baby skin care range, but it was about £6 for the baby shampoo!! Think ill stick with Johnsons hehe

So far i have bought 1 cream outfit and a little sleepsuit!

I am fortunate that my lo is only 15 mths old and i knew when i was pg with him that we were going top have more so i do actually still have pretty much everything we need - just need to buy a double pushchair and a matrress for the junior bed for lo to move into!

It is good that i don't have the expense of having to buy everything again but part of me feels i am missing out and not having that 'special' time choosing new items. Am trying to convince OH that we need loads more blankets and clothes because lo was a summer baby and obviously we will now need more 'warmer' clothes hehe

Eeek I need to get moving - we've hardly got anything so far! Have a few things from other people and just won a brand new cot on ebay (so addictive!) but we can't decide whether to get a new travel system or a second hand one - they are soooo expensive!

I didn't want to get things too early, but perhaps it's time to get cracking.
