Subject : bio or non-bio?!

does it really matter whether I use bio or non-bio washing stuff? I have sensitive skin and have always used bio so, my lo's clothes have always been washed in it too.
the instruction with my nappies say to use non-bio but surely it cant make a differnce to the absorbancy of the nappy?

As far as I know it shouldn't make any difference. I always used to use non-bio untill I read on one of the nappy sites that bio is better for shifting the stains and they were right! If you use bio for lo's clothes then it should be fine for nappies as well. You may already know this but only use half the amount of washing stuff you would normally and if you can run an extra rinse cycle after washing. Both of these things will prevent detergent build up on your nappies which can make them less absorbant.
xx

thanks, i'll keep using my bio then! and thanks bedhead, I didn't realise that I only need to use half detergent and for the tip about running a rinse cycle afterwards.
