bio or non-bio?!

Subject : bio or non-bio?!

does it really matter whether I use bio or non-bio washing stuff? I have sensitive skin and have always used bio so, my lo's clothes have always been washed in it too.
the instruction with my nappies say to use non-bio but surely it cant make a differnce to the absorbancy of the nappy?
