Subject : wraps for bambino mio nappies
Hi
I am using bambino mio nappies at the moment but after every poo the wrap is dirty and quite often wet after each wee. I only have 3 wraps so need to buy more but they are not cheap at £9.00 each. Does anyone know where to get them cheaper or can recommend anything else.

Seems strange they are getting so mucky - I use bambino mio and the only time this happened was when my lo was ready to move up the the next size even though he wasn't quite at the weight range - could this be the case for you???
You can get some on ebay quite often so that would be worth a look - kiddicare.com have them cheaper as well.

Hi Pottypotter - we are experiencing exactly the same thing with our bambino mios and poos. I too am bf. Not really having probs with wee but certainly the majority of poos this last fortnight cause some spoiling of the wrapper. My LO is still on newborn size as he is only 6 weeks and weighs 8lb. We do love them though. We have been experimenting with different folds but keep going back to standard newborn fold. Sometimes the wrap is fine but if its a big poo (increasingly common) then it gets spoiled
We got 4 newborn wraps with our birth to potty pack but have already purchased another and so far find that 5 is enough even with the spoiling. We only have 3 of each of the other sizes though so I am also interested to find the wraps cheaper - especially of i need to get 2 more of each size. We're hoping things will improve once he's weaning and his poos are less sloppy.
Otherwise we're loving them - they clean up nicely and baby seems really happy in them. We don't have any probs with nappy rash or anything.

Hi when I was bf and at the poo is more runny and more frequent I folded the liner smaller so that the poo went onto the nappy part more as it soaks in a bit more but you have to be on top of when they poo so it's not on their skin for long!!
Also while it was like this I was using a wet pail with the bambino mio powder in the bucket then they didn't stain!!
I did treat myself to extra wraps from kiddicare I bought extra for each size at one time and bought swimming nappies as well then got free delivery for over £50
It gets better the older they get my lo is now 23 months and very nearly potty trained and I put it down to the nappies as other children that I look after are in active fit nappie and are older but have no intrest in using the potty!!!
