Subject : 9 month to 4 year car seats

Just wondering if anyone has any good advice on which ones are best.

My lo is 8 months and almost weighs enough to go into one so looking to buy one quite soon.

There are so many to choose from I am really confused. I don't want to pay a fortune for one I end up not really liking.

At the moment the one that I fancy is the Bebe Confort Axiss, I like the idea that it rotates. The man in Halfords said the Maxi Cosi Tobi is really good and is the most popular at the moment.

Any ideas or experiences would be appreciated.

Nicola x

Holly is 8 months and within the weight for one but we still have her in her rear facing carseat until she is too big for it.

We bought her next size one in the sale, we got the maxi cosi isofix one in chilli pepper and its fab. We tried it in the car and say Holly in it and she just loved it and looked soo comfy. Its quite expensive but I feel worth it as the drivers here are shockingly bad!! We ended up getting it for £185 delivered, I can send you the link if you like but not sure how much the postage would be to the uk.

the car seat i have got is britax evolva and the lady in the store told me it would suit my daughter until 11/12 years of age, from 8month. It cost £90 i'm pretty sure but looks like it's gone up in price a little bit, but is still a damn sight cheaper than most i've seen! it seems really really comfy for my daughter and is easy enough to fit into your car, it fits most kinds of car and has won awards too. it came in two different kinds of fabric so i had some choice, and i'd really reccommend it both for it's value for money, ease of use and of course it's an investment as it will last for so long!

We bought the Maxi Cosi Tobi, as it's the best one, basically!
It's number one in all the tests and like smiler said paramedics voted it number one in Which? magazine.

There was no question for us!

We're really happy with it and it looks fab too!

Good luck, there are so many!

I too loved to Axiss one but went for this because of the test results xx

We bought the Mamas and Papas Pro Tec and really like it, it has a lot of removable padding which is great for when they first go into it and has four reclining positions. I haven't tried any other but when I went and looked this looked the comfiest to me and I would buy it again.

We have the Bebe Confort Iesos TT for Millie. We were very limited for choice as I was driving a sports coupe at the time and not many seats would fit on the sports seats in the back. We do really like it though as you can expand the width of the seat as they grow, Millie was very tall and thin and looked a bit lost in some of the others.

Maxi Cosi Tobi for us, it is the best car seat on the market at the moment and it fitted brilliantly in our car.

There was no question, this came out top in all safety tests and looks fab!

We got ours from Kiddicare for £135, it was on special offer at the time.
