Subject : Back up childcare?

HI ladies,

I'm starting a new job in September and my sister in law will be looking after LO, which is great! However she and her hubby have a few health problems and i'm worried she may start unavoidably letting me down. Does anybody have a back up childcare plan for if their child minder is unavailable? Do nurseries do emergency placements? Any ideas would be fab!

Thank you for looking at the post.
xx

Hiya
I don't think nurseries do but childminders might.
Hope all is ok for you.

i think ofsted allow for emergency placements in nurseries and childminders. It would be good to have name and number of someone you know in preperation. I don't think it will work if it becomes a regular occurance as they have to maintain certain adult/child ratios. best of luck!
