Subject : HOLIDAYS
Im going on holiday to tenerife in october and im really confused about the car seat, gracie will be 7 months when we go so will defo still be in her seat but just wondering do you take your own or can you hire one from the airport when you get there?
Antone got any advise?

I haven't got a clue. We're going to Spain in Sept and wanted to know the same thing. Some people say you don't need one as baby sits on lap and there's no where to put it on the plane so I really don't know what to do! Kyra will be 3 months when we travel. I was thinking take it for the transfer to the hotel on the coach, but if I can't take it as hand luggage it might get damaged if put in with the general luggage.

We too are going in october . We go to aiya napa in cyprus every year so know it very well we normally get a coach transfer but this year i am going to hire a car from airport and i presume havnt checked yet that you can hire a car seat. so that we have a car seat every journey. They are crazy fools abroad on the roads and i dont want to risk not having my baby strapped in. My lo will be 8 months and i am hoping she wont be able to crawl by then!!!!!! lol

Hi,
We're off to Spain on Wednesday and although we can hire a car seat, I'm taking Gracie's baby seat (she's 8mth) as I find they're not as good as seats over here. Plus, you can put them in the hold.
We're taking another car seat too for one of my boys but hiring another from the car hire firm (30 euros for 15 days) as taking 3's a bit much!
Oh and Westbrom, I thought the same about Gracie not crawling by then and she's only been getting about since 51/2mth, full on crawling for the last 3 weeks or so! Friends n family joke that she'll start walking in Spain. I sincerely hope not lol.

mmmmm think im gonna take mine then as you say they drive like nutters abroad and we too have hired a car!!!! Gosh theres sooo much stuff weve got to take were gonna be like pack horses!!! Never realised but if Gracie goes to 6 months before weaning its gonna be even more of a nightmare as it will be afew weeks before when we go i start!!! arrgghhh Beginning to wish we had held off till next year for the hol.
