Subject : Pregnant again!

My 1st baby was born at 29 weeks due to me having pre eclampsia.
I have found out i am pregnant again and would love to hear from anyone who has had a 'normal' 2nd pregnancy after their 1st ended with a premature birth.
Thanks in advance! xx

Hi I am not sure about this bit wanted to say congratulations. Don't worry because I know once you had one prem baby it doesn't necessarily mean that you will have another. I know you are probably worried about it because I know when I am pregnant again I will probably worry.

Congratulations on your pregnancy. You will be monitored more this time I think. My GP said if I had any further pregnancies I would be under the consultant although not planning anymore at the moment and im scared of delivering early again too. No cause was found for my premature birth, I just went into labour.

Good luck with this bubba and I hope it stays in until its fully cooked.
xxx

Thanks girls,i think i'm just going to take one day at a time and see what happens. I'm so excited about being pregnant and just want this pregnancy to go as smoothly as possible!
I suppose one good thing is if it happens again i will know what to expect!

Hi, congratulations on your pregnancy!
My first was born at 29 weeks and I have just had another baby. She was born at 32 weeks so was still early but those extra 3 weeks did her good. I had a lot more scans in my 2nd pregnancy and they do keep a close eye on you. I know of people that have gone full term or even over due so try not to worry and take each day as it comes. Take care X
