Subject : Fake tan or not to fake tan....

Ok, ok, stupid question alert!

I've got a wedding to go in a few weeks time... have a lovely dress and sandals to wear but my legs are looking a little pale. Is self tanning cream (where your tan`develops' overnight) safe to use? I've got the Dove one already at home and it doesn't say anything about using it when pregnant on the bottle. Don't mean to be daft but just don't want to use something chock full of chemicals if it's not ok....

I'm sure that if we can use all the different moisturisers on the market than there should be no problem with fake tan. If you are really concerned check see if there is an advice line on the back of the bottle and give them a ring - the people on those lines can be suprisingly helpful!!
Good luck & enjoy the wedding! xxx

p.s not a stupid question - I am so pale I'm almost blue, I love fake tan - especially the spray ones - and it had crossed my mind too! xxx

Hiya,

I have been using the moisturiser with fake tan in, I use the Garnier Summersun one as I find it gives me a lovely natural colour in only a couple of applications as I am also pale (especially the ol' legs!) xx

My salon does different strengths of spray tan to avoid the orange look for us pale creatures.

Had it done several times and having it done in 2 weeks as I'm also going to a wedding and don't want to look pale and pasty.

Go for a St. Tropez tan ...

I have quite pale skin and find that it is the most natural looking one on my skin.

They also do a gradual tanner which is quite good as well.
