Heres my birth story, Thursday morning, i woke up about 10.00am aching from head to toe, i thought i was coming down with a cold, after about half an hour i started getting pains in my back and tummy which i thought may have been wind. I rang my mum, and she came up and straight away said she thought i was in labour. After about half an hour the pains got really bad, i rang my oh who was in work to come home then made our way to the hospital at about 1.45pm, i was allready 4cm dilated. The midwife put me in the pool after about an hour, i went through 3 canesters of gas and air. At about 8.00, i was still 4cm so they popped my waters, then at 10.00 lola-grace was born. I was pushing for about half an hour at the most, i kept telling the midwife i could feel the head, but she wasnt having any of it, i thought stuff you, went with the pain and pushed on my own, then her head came. I had no stitches and was out and about straight away, i dont think it could have gone any better. xx
