Subject : Breast feeding and still no sign of AF.

Hi I'm still breast feeding my baby he's now 34 weeks & i've still had no sign of a period. Just wondering when other people had their 1st period while still breast feeding. It's just we might be thinking of trying for baby number 2!
Thanks Katie

My baby is 29 weeks and still breastfed and no sign of a period but I am on the mini pill too so which is the cause of no period I do not know!

I think it is very variable if you get them or not when feeding!

i breastfed my son for 11 months, even though he was on solids from 5 months and his feeds eventually cut right down to 2 a day i got no af until the month after i stopped and then they were a regular cycle from then. So mine took a year to return.

hey katie, my dd shannon is just over 7 months now and i had been thinking the same question as you, due to wanting to ttc baby no. 2. a couple of week back i was asking this also. however shortly after, while on holiday might i add (af really picks her moments) she returned. i had been getting a bit worried as i thought i was going to have to stop bf all together. ive never been as happy to see her! lol
just hoping tat i wil be ovulating and not just bleeding though.
