hi girls,

my mum has a 20month old boy that is still breastfed but he will not eat proper food. shes been trying to wean him for months now but he just refuses to eat anything. sometimes if she manages to get him to eat something hes has a couple of bites then just loses interest, evan when hes starving. he has milk all through the night still aswell and wont go to sleep until hes had some. my mum just has to give in if she wants to get any sleep! hes dropped right off the bottom centile in his red book so when he dosnt eat my mum worries about his weight so has to give him milk.
the last few days now she has refused to give him milk all day apart from bedtime. hes only eaten about 4 bites of a bread roll today and about the same yesturday.

can anyone give any advise? its been going on for a while now and not getting any better.

I think it would be worth while taking a trip to see her hv/gp for some advice and help!x
