Hey ladies,
Im a bit confused and really dont no wot to expect, so thought the best ppl to ask is u guys.
Im 40+6 weeks, last night when i went to the loo i noticed a thick blob of clear/yellowy mucus type stuff on the tissue, then little bits more but then it died down, then alot more this morning.
Is this a show?i have been told its a pinkish colour so mayb its not?
Please help!! :) xx

I'm not really too sure as I never had a show last time, but it sounds exactly like one from what I have heard. It doesn't always have blood in, so hopefully it is a good sign that things are happening!! Good luck!!

Hi, yes, sounds like it could be a show. This time I had a clear jelly like blob (size ten pence) sorry if tmi on the Weds then on the Sunday at 10.30 am had size of tampon (approx 2in) discharge with pale pink in it and baby came at 14.07. Apparently it doesn't always have pink in and not everyone notices a show. All the best hun.

Hi, sounds like a show to me...I always imagined a lovely blob of jelly with pink bits in like they tell you in all the books etc. but I never had that, just continuous goo (sorry if TMI!) that never ended & when I was in hospital having my 'relaxing' bath I passed what looked like a piece of liver, freaked, bagged it up & sent my hubby to the MW's to ask WTF it was only to be told that that was my plug!
