my little boy starts school in september i'm happy and sad at the same time! he turns 5 in september so is the oldest in his class and is totally ready for school, he's so looking forward to it, bless him

i did notice the thread on enrollment day but don't really know what that is my son goes to the nursery at the school so they have been preparing him for reception for a while, plus this is his second year of nursery since his birthdays in sept

who else is preparing for school?

Hiya, we are getting ready for school too, although my daughter isn't 4 till next week so is one of the youngest in her class! Thats good that the school has a nursery, I bet your son is really well prepared and looking forward to it!!
I am so sad that Kyah is starting already, although it will help me out a lot as baby number 2 is due this month! She just seems too young to go to school.
When are you getting the uniform?? I don't want to leave it too late incase they run out, but if I do it too soon I might get sizes wrong as there is still 2 months till they start!xxx

My dd starts in Spetember and I can't believe it- I know I will cry my eyes out when I drop her off on the first day. My ds1 is going into p3 so I have done it before but I know I will get emotional anyway.

oh don't get me started, i've got to get 2 school jumpers, a book bag and a pe bag from the school (with logo) apart from those things will get the rest from asda during the holidays... will have to save my pennies first though!!
i'm getting 5/6yr jumpers since he'll be 5 and the size down is 3/4 and tiny!

Oh thats a bit stupid, why don't they do an age 4/5??? I will have to get 3/4 anyway I think as my daughter is so skinny lol. Yeah she is looking forward to it, but is very shy and I think it will take her a while to get used to it!! They only go half days for 2 weeks round here now, then it's full time for all of them! Do they do that in your area?xxx

yeah they do that here too, he's doing a week and a half of morning and lunch then into full time, the younger ones have to do a week of afternoons only too.
it'll be really good for him plus he's in a class with his 2 best friends so i'm not worried. he's getting so big i can't believe i'm going to have a child in school! LOL
hopefully you'll be settled with the baby by the time she starts school!

yeah kthom no doubt i'll be crying my eyes out too so you'll not be the only one LOL and standing with my camera too HEHE
