Subject : more for mommas'!

BEFORE THE PREGNANCY/BABY:

Was your out look on life different?: yes, for one, I was a youngin, living on my own, no curfew, lots of drinking, and I was a dancer.

How has that outlook change?: I have a better relationship with the Lord, so being a dancer just doesn't appeal to me, I don't drink now that I have children and obviously now that I'm pregnant, and although still young, I feel more mature, more focused, and more together.

WHAT SIZE WERE YOU BEFORE BECOMING A MOMMY?: I was a beautifule size 4 or 5. I loved it!

WHAT SIZE ARE YOU NOW?: before this baby I was a 9 or 10 :-( I don't love it as much. I was starting to lose lots weight before I got preggie again. But its okay I'm young, I'll lose it :-)

DOES THAT MAKE YOU MAD, SAD, OR DO YOU NOT CARE?: all the above, I'm very hormonal so my attitude changes! Ha! But its all worth it!

HAVE YOU CHANGED? DIFFERENT HAIR COLOR, WAYS YOU DO YOUR MAKE UP?
Yes indeed! I used to dye my hair from, blonde higlights to red red, to BLACK, and I'm a natural redhead, black did not look sexy! And make up, I don't wear nearly as much as I used to!

HAS YOUR WARDROBE CHANGED SINCE YOU HAD BABIES OR BECAME PREGNANT?: yes I no longer dress like a hoochie mama! B4 I was preg I wore clothes the size of wash cloths, that covered like nothing! Now, I dress with everything covered, like a lady.

HAS YOUR SHOE SIZE CHANGED?: no I'm still a 7 1/2.

CAN YOU STILL REACH YOUR TOES TO POLISH?: no and I need a manicure so bad!

ON PARENTING. (NOW OR IN THE FUTURE):

ARE YOU PRO OR CON WITH DISCIPLINE?: I am pro. Children need to know how to act, how not to act, what's right, what's wrong, otherwise they'll grow up to be spoiled and bratty! But there's a fine line between discipline and abuse. So discipline needs to go about gental and in a way the child understands. Time out works great... spanking I don't like doing.

WHEN YOUR CHILD COMES HOME AND DECIDES THEY WANT A PIERCING OR TATTOO HOW WOULD YOU REACT?:
Depends on what age they are. I was like that and since my parents wouldn't let me, I went out and did it anyway. Our religion says they're NO NO's but, if my children are mature, they know what they want, won't regret it, I think a belly ring is okay. But I would prefure them to wait until they're 18.
WHEN YOUR CHILD WANTS A CAR, WILL YOU BUY IT OR HAVE THEM BUY IT?:
Depends on their grades in school, and their maturity level. I would want them to have a job to pay for their own gas. It would teach them responsibility and value. If we have the money, I don't see why not. My husband want them to get a used car and fix it up together.
WHAT'S AN APPROPRIATE CURFEW FOR A 16 YEAR OLD?:
Argh! Again depends on maturity, also the type of people she hangs out with. I want to say 8:30pm on school night, and 9:30 10:00pm weekends. Sounds fair to me.
WHEN WILL YOU LET YOUR DAUGHTER WEAR MAKE UP?: about 16 or 17.

IF YOU HAVE BOTH BOY AND GIRL, WOULD YOU TREAT THEM THE SAME OR MORE STRICT ON ONE?: because the way the world is, I don't know. My parents were way more strict on me than my brothers it sucked. I would hope to treat them the same.

DO YOU WANT TO BE THE MOM WHO IS ALSO THE FRIEND?: all my friends had that! I loved it! My parents were parents... I want my children to be able to come to me for anything and talk/tell me anything!

BEFORE THE PREGNANCY/BABY:

Was your out look on life different?: Well obviously I am not number 1 now and I used to be a big smoker - now I've given up and looking after myself more!

How has that outlook change?: Baby has given me a real purpose.

WHAT SIZE WERE YOU BEFORE BECOMING A MOMMY?: Was a size 6.

WHAT SIZE ARE YOU NOW?: Am now a small 8. Still wearing most of my clothes.

DOES THAT MAKE YOU MAD, SAD, OR DO YOU NOT CARE?: Couldn't really care less!

HAVE YOU CHANGED? DIFFERENT HAIR COLOR, WAYS YOU DO YOUR MAKE UP?
Nothing really, though considering chopping my waist length hair off in case it's a nuisance when the baby's here. Am really umming and ahhing over that - I really like my hair!

HAS YOUR WARDROBE CHANGED SINCE YOU HAD BABIES OR BECAME PREGNANT?: Not really, apart from big nights out I normally dress pretty conservatively.

HAS YOUR SHOE SIZE CHANGED?: No still a size 5.

CAN YOU STILL REACH YOUR TOES TO POLISH?: Yes, am bendy thankfully!

ON PARENTING. (NOW OR IN THE FUTURE):

ARE YOU PRO OR CON WITH DISCIPLINE?: Very much pro. Would like to try to avoid spanking at all costs but I will do it if I really have to. I want my children to be polite and have respect for others.

WHEN YOUR CHILD COMES HOME AND DECIDES THEY WANT A PIERCING OR TATTOO HOW WOULD YOU REACT?:
So long as it's legal I would just have a chat and ensure they have really thought it through but I would be ok with it. I've had numerous piercings and my sister is totally covered in tattoos so I can hardly say no!

WHEN YOUR CHILD WANTS A CAR, WILL YOU BUY IT OR HAVE THEM BUY IT?: If I could afford it I'd buy it and they'd have to pay for the running costs.

WHAT'S AN APPROPRIATE CURFEW FOR A 16 YEAR OLD?:
Totally depends on boy/girl, venue, who with etc. Will have to decide at the time!

WHEN WILL YOU LET YOUR DAUGHTER WEAR MAKE UP?: Probably 15.

IF YOU HAVE BOTH BOY AND GIRL, WOULD YOU TREAT THEM THE SAME OR MORE STRICT ON ONE?: Totally depends on them as individuals rather than gender.

DO YOU WANT TO BE THE MOM WHO IS ALSO THE FRIEND?: I am very close to my parents but they are still my parents. Very fine line there. Would want to be a great mum foremost and a confidant secondly.
