Hi i was just wondering if you still used a bath seat we had a plastic one from mothercare that she could lie back on but she wont lie back in it anymore so she hasnt had one for a while i have seen a ring one that would stop them falling over if they slipped but i was just wondering if it was worth it as Lexie sits very well and hasnt slipped yet just wondered if it was a waste of money any thoughts would be great Lin:)

I'm still using the one you already have with Zara though I did see this one in the mothercare catalogue that I thought was a good idea

http://www.mothercare.com/gp/product/B0011EZ9WS/sr=1-1/qid=1215168566/ref=sr_1_1/203-5921746-3956768?ie=UTF8&m=A2LBKNDJ2KZUGQ&n=42855041&mcb=core

I didnt use one with Amy because I used to just lift her in with me but I bath both of them together now (lets just say lots of splashing & water everywhere!!) & I think a bathseat would be a lot handier coz it would give me a spare hand so to speak xx

That one is fab Lin - I had it (an older version) for Nic and it was brill! The swivel is a useful feature. Hubby was just saying the other day about getting it out of the loft for Rory as he is sitting up in his current lie-back one and occasionally ending up face first in the water!

I can't recommend any as I've never used one for Ellie she loves to lay down in the bath and kick her arms and legs about and cause lots of bubbles and water to go everywhere. I fill the bath up only a few inches, when she lays down it comes to her cheeks and we don't hold her any more so we have both hands free to wash her, she happily kicks away and chews her ducks!!! xx

i have the bath seat you've put the link up for lin. alex seems to like it and it means it frees up both of my hands to wash him and not worry about reaching to grab the shampoo etc whilst still trying to hold him.

it's also great that i can see to casper at the same time if i need to as they always have a bath together, not worrying about holding alex with one hand and sorting casper with the other.

i would definitely recommend it.

Ive never used a bath seat as Ellie just sits in the bath and splashes. Even when she was small she just lay in my arm and was happy enough. I still use the baby bath though as we only have a shower. [Ellie was a shock and we didnt expect to need a bath]

Well as I am now fat and pregnant I have to say I find it easier to put Violet in and lift her out when using the swivel thing...also it is easier for Holly and Max to bath her! xxx

i have both the lie back ergonomic one and the tesco swivel thing, harry wont lie back in the first but he doesnt like the other either as he cant get his toys very easily and he cant lean back and splash his legs! I've been putting him in bath with oh lately as its quicker, but when i'm not bein lazy i end up swapping between both supports before throwing them both out and holding him myself! but i think i will be buying that one from mothercare xx

i used to have the white plasticbath seat from mothercare which jayden grew out of by about 4 months! Bought a swivel seat which was a big waste of money cause he dont like it he would much rather just sit and splash about freely x
