lol well he has at least been handed the eviction notice!

I went for my scan today.. and consultants later baby is measuring in at approx 8 pounds and 8 ounces.. I am 36 weeks and 5 days.. 37 Sat! this is my 7th scan and also have raised aminotic fluid again..

but have been measuring at full term for a fair few weeks, I thought i'd have to fight to be induced slightly earlier to give me achance to have a natrual vaginal birth (although i'm no marter (sp) with as much pain relief as I need!! )

She pop'd me up on the table asked to have a little look and feel.. (while joking to my fella he was next!) haha.. she went further and further up.. and Ta Da.. pulled out my show after having a bit of a fiddle! I am sore after it and really didn't expect it to happen all so easily i thought i'd have to wait till at least next week!

She said I am 1/2 cm diolated.. & as soon as she did it I started to get period pains in my back.. which is a good sign.. although if nothing happens i'm to go back next thursday for another sweep at 2pm and if nothing has happened by the evening i'm to go in with my bag and they 'will induce me properly!'

So my little fella is going to be here very soon.. I don't feel panicked like I thought I would.. thinking Ooo i'll have a baby soon but still hasn't really sunk in lol doesn't feel real (althought will be screaming diffrent soon enough) can wait to see his Daddy hold him and can't wait to fall in love!

we'd better start agreeing on names lol - ordering a HOT currie tonight - lol don't feel in the mood for cooking and trying to give him some encouragement!

just thought i'd share my news with you all.. btw his EDD is 26/July/08 but looks like he'll be here around the 11th - ish!

Good luck, I'm jealous. I am due tomorrow and saw my mw yesterday, I have another appointment next weds and if still no sign then I have to go to the assesment unit on 14th for them to decide my fate.... C'mon baby come out!!

Girls thanks for you good wishes.. ask you can see i've woken up late/early and am having trouble sleeping.. feel like i'm on a period and had some blood come after what the doctor did earlier.. all part of the course now.. yeah feels lovely to think it not going to go on for ever! and so relieved I had a sensible doctor...

aww so jealous ive been told im having a big old boy so hope i get a doc like yours. my next scan is 4th aug and his edd is 21st. fingers crossed. keep us posted. xxx

Thats great news its nice knowing that theres a definate end in site, my lil man is a big boy aswell im 37 weeks today and hes between 8-81/2 lbs aswell, but ive been having some health problems ive lost my vision 3 times, chest pains and nubness down my left arm so have been in hospital since mon only got let out on wed evening but the good news is im getting induced on sun as its going to be best to get baby out as hes a good size but will be probably the smallest one of my 3 lol

Oldermum69 - thanks hun just read that out to OH he laughted can you believe we still haven't agreed on a name for this little fella thinking it will just have to be wait and see what he looks like (plus after my labour he might be more enclined to let me have his own way lol buttering him up just got him a brand new x Box lol) well see if it works!

people in the street keep looking at me saying how long feels so funny to say well now really any time this week!

Still pregnant.. just to let you all know! lol althought keep getting a stich type feeling in my right side (not grasping at straws or anything lol!) x

Ooo four days and i'll really be in the middle of it all.. augh.. so funny .. come on agonising pains.. how strange are we all for being desprate for it all to happen..

the pregnancy has gone sooooooo quickly.. feel a bit sad in a odd way.. but I think it's because it's my first i'm having real difficulty imagining the next part of it all.. and know that this bit for all the aches and pains and scares has been a beautiful experiance and i've been lucky i got to do it!

cant wait to see his sweet little (squashed up & bruised) face and think i made that and he is the most beautiful baby in the world..

lol wondering about my labour and the experiances I am about to have..

but feel ready any way which is the main thing.. isinit it funny that the fear you have about loosing your dignity and the pain just seems to vanish at the end.. you know it'll hurt.. but you just accept it and there is no panicky feeling.. (she says) lol
