Subject : I'm back at last with Tommy in tow!!!
Hiya strangers!
Finally back online after a horrendous move and then on June 10th had Tommy by c/section at 12.49pm. He weighed in at 8lb exactely!!!
Luckily so far he seems pretty good! Does have a bit of colic (i think) but now getting the fartiest bottom I have ever known! Maybe he prefers to lose wind from his bottom than his mouth!
I am trying to catch up on everyone who has had their lo's since have been offline and if I havent caught up with you yet - a MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS!
To everyone who had SPD I hope you are feeling much better - I know I am! It hasnt completely gone but at least I can walk around a lot longer than I could before. The damned wheelchair has gone back as I didnt need it anymore - thank god! I cried everytime I went out in it!
Cant wait to catch up with you all!
Love Lee

Hi lee!
So glad to hear you are back - been meaning to text you but you know what it is like!!!
Glad to hear tommy doing well - can't believe he is almost a month old already and chloe is nearly 4mths!
So great to hear your spd nearly gone - mine comes back every now and again but rarely thank god! trouble is i can't tell if arthritis or spd! hey ho!
are u a bit more settled mate? we moved two weeks ago tomorrow and are mostly sorted - just big things like the garden to be sorted - next week and then can finally put up my much needed washing line!
been looking out for you mate. i've not been on much with the move and we are back on dial up until broadband connected which should be tomorrow! hooray!!
as you prob haven't got anywhere near reading all the posts - chloe is now rolling all over the place so is proving to be a bit of a handful as that is all she wants to do now - that and stand given half a chance!!
Hope you ok and all recovered from section mate and hope to see a bit more of you on here now tho understand you have your hands full!!
lara n chloe xx

Hi Lee
Welcome back and congratulations on Tommy. Kai has colic at the moment which of course means sleepless nights but then he is only 3 weeks old so what can i expect.

Thanks everyone!
Its good to be back! I think all the things I was worrying about were made much worse by feeling I was the only one going through it but seeing all that everyone else is going through has made me realise (again) that we are all going through it!
Tommy has colic too but using infacol is improving it and I dont know if its the reason but god can my boy fart lol
I forgot that most people would have jumped over here and spent most of today looking through pregnancy forum for everyone - obviously baby brain is just as bad as pregnancy brain lol

Hi Lee - good to see you back at last! You must have had some serious withdrawals from t'internet - I'd be going mad without it!
As you know, I had Reiss on 4th June, he's doing really well and piling on the weight. He's another one that doesn't like burping but lets rip in his nappy - I swear you can hear him at the other end of the house when he drops one!
Lara - I've never been able to do Suduko (bloody hell that took me 3 attempts to spell it) so not sure what that says about me! I've been buying loads of trash mags so I can sit and read them when I'm feeding him and then do the crosswords to keep my brain alive.
xx

Bloody hell you brain boxes - I couldnt get my head round Suduko before there is no way I could attempt it now! Have just done an on-line shop and I swear it took me 10 times longer! Kept bloody deleting everything - just hoping can make some meals from what I have finally ordered lol
Congrats Karen, Zoey did text me bout Reiss! How did you get on? How long were you in hospital! I was lucky - went in Tuesday and had Tommy and got kicked out on Thursday! It was like a bloody sauna in the ward - couldnt wait to get home but as soon as I got in the front door I turned into the most neurotic freak going! My god things have changed since I last had a baby! My room thermometer has been removed - sent me into a wild frenzy of turning fans on and opening windows at silly o'clock in the morning when it wasnt as bloody hot as the hospital! Then there is this - cant make bottles up business - WHAT!!! At 3 o'clock in the morning I suddenly burst into tears and thought - bugger that lol

Hi Lee, congratulations on little Tommy, he looks gorgeous!
I did had pelvic pain but not too badly, it lingered on for a few days after birth but was like heaven when I could finally lay in bed and roll over comfortably!
Evie is almost 9 weeks now and doing well.

oh my god Lee how gorg is tommy!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is is soooooo good to hear you are both doing well. hope his collic isnt too bad. So much to ask you like your birth your new home the boys etc. but so little time, if you get time let e know how you all doing. i find it more and more difficul;t to come on here as daisy has turned into the child of satan! She is absolutely gorgoues but she still doesnt sleep so is constantly over tired and grumpy. ha ha bit like me!!!! We have had her back to hospital again today and they dont want to see us for 8 weeks so they are prety sure it is reflux. The night times are still bad and they have suggested i give her some solids before going to bed which i dont really want to do as i like her to have a bath a bottle and a cuddle she is far to grumpy to be eating at bedtime but i will have to try it. she has been on solids for three weeks and is loving it.I am also taking her for reikki in the hope that a bit of spiritual healing will calm her down but she had two sessions and made no difference. I love her to bits but why me????????????? She is 20 weeks old tomorow and weighs 16lb i cant beleive how quick it has gone, cant beleive all you lot are having your babies i often pop into pregnancy forumn and dont recognise anyone these days. I cried when found out tommy had been born and when i found out tammi had had her little one and just waiting for news on zoey if you have any take care lovely to have you back love Kel and daisy xxxx

Thanks for the welcome back!!
Am getting emotional reading your replies!! Doesnt take much to set me off crying - thought we would get rid of those bloody hormones! I cried tonight just coz the queue in the chippy was too bloody long! What are these babies doing to us lol
I cant believe Daisy is 20 wks old! OMG! Send me an email Kel and Katie so have got your email addresses so can go into more detail when got more time - gutsy now waking for a feed! That way we wont keep missing each other on here!
Tommy is getting well chunky! He was 8lb born then week later had put on 1 oz then weighed at 2 1/2 wks and weighed 8lb 13!!! God only knows what he will weigh when we see the health visitor on Thursday! Starting to get arm ache when I carry him already lol!!!
What can they do for reflux hon and how does the reiki work?? now typingone handed so will talk 2 u soon
love Lee

Hi Lee
Section went really well, but I have to say I suffered badly this time with pain - my uterus is well and truly knackered and caused me more grief than the wound! Had nasty thrombosis (superficial ones) as well which were really painful and a bit worrying cos they kept asking me if I felt breathless (more likely to have dvt if you get these) which I did from time to time, but I get like this with my panic attacks so I was a right state at times!
Apart from that it all went well - I had to stay in 3 nights and tbh I needed it - the thought of coming home to climb our stairs to the loft wasn't doing it for me!
Glad to hear you're in your new house at last, even if it was a nightmare move - at least you're in now and got more space.
Tommy is so cute - how's he getting on?xx
