Hi ladies

I had my scan this afternoon and after a day of pooping myself, I am very very very pleased to tell you that 'Pip' is absolutely fine I even heard his/her hearbeat! Which made my cry, lol... (silly sod, I know!!!)

My consultant has told me that 'Pip' is perfect on every milestone therefore, he does not think for one moment that he/she will be going anywhere (until 40 weeks).

I am 8 weeks and 5 days today; therefore, my official due date is 6th February 2009. My FIL birthday.

So, to all you ladies who are having pains and symptoms which seem to be disapearing, I hope my post gives you some reassurance

Susan - I'm still getting on my right side as well as a stretching feeling in my lower abdomen :) I believe this is wear the muscles are softening and apparently it can last for weeks, on and off :)

Wonderful news Donna. I´so glad everything went well and Pip is doing fine.

I´m due on the same day as you! My symptoms come and go, with the sickness been worse in the evening. My next scan is the 15th July and I can´t wait. I´m working on the getting from scan-to-scan basis!

ceebee - (my due date buddy!!!) that's good to know! My sickness returned today and it is at its worst around lunchtime then teatime, when I start getting hungry... I'm glad its back though, lol...

My next scan isn't until 31st July!!! I was going to pay for one sooner but after yesterday, I'm happy to be patient. However, when we were waiting yesterday, I told my oh he'd got to buy me a scanning machine so I can check on Pip whenever I like, instead of having to wait around at the hospital - he wasn't having any of it though!!! how rude!!! lol...
