Subject : Jessica has her enrolment today

OMG I can't believe how quick it has all come about from the day we finally brought her home.
And she has come through so much heart problems, club feet, not doing anything for the first 9 months of her life being told she was terminally ill, epilepsy and being blind plus the other 10 million problems she has and now my little star is going to school for her enrolment day my god I am going to cry like a baby today
I am so proud of my little girl
PS as you guessed it's a self indulgent post! he he
take care xx

My little girl went to school for her first visit today too! It sounds as if your girly has had a hard time, what heart problems did she have? My Abby was born with tetrallogy of fallots along with another complication and I was told she wouldnt make it through her last open heart surgery but she did and seeing her at school today was so emotional! I had tears in my eyes but managed to hold it in lol.

My daughter had hers yesterday and it's so sad!! Being heavily pregnant doesn't help either as it makes me so much more emotional lol. She is still 3 aswell and not 4 till the 11th July so will be one of the youngest, it's come round sooo quick!xxx

Ok, I feel like a bad mummy now.......I was so thrilled for both my girls to go school/nursery! They couldn't wait and were looking forward to going. My Luke will be going to nursery hopefully in September and he can't wait either! They all either want to learn or can't wait to get away from mummy......

Hi all well she cried lol and wasn't wanting to share at all she also declared she'd had a poo in front of everyone *she hadn't she just farted* so all in all it wasn't that great but she seems to be excited about going in Sept so we will see I suppose...
Hi Carly she had a heart murmur and was in & out of the cardiac ward in Pendlebury till 18 mths old as she kept having fits and it was all related in a strange way lol but she has had the all clear now I too just about managed to hold the tears in he he :)

Abby loved it! She turned her back on me as soon as she got in there and just got on with things!
Mummyx5 dont get me wrong, I cannot WAIT for Abby to start! She is so ready for full time school, shes been in nursery for a year and a half now and needs a new challenge. She's a very good little girl but sometimes I just want 5 minutes peace! She talks from the minute she gets up in the morning till she falls asleep at night and even talks in her sleep! She's not the kind of child you can fob off either, you have to answer every question and laugh at every joke and pay full attention to what shes saying! I adore her and wouldnt change her for the world but sometimes I just wish she's be quiet for a minute! I'm hoping she'll get alot of her questions and chatting out of her system at school lol. being heavily pregnant doesnt help either, I seem to have no paitence nowadays.
Oh well..got the looong summer holidays coming up with no nursery and no toddler groups! Help!

LOL - totally understand. My girls were the same!! With Luke, he's 4 in November but his speech is about 1 yr behind. He's come on in leaps and bounds, getting to know numbers, using the toilet all by himself but he just can't be bothered with the pronounciation etc of words so can be hard to understand. We're hoping he'll pick up so much more once he's in nursery and seeing as we'll hopefully not move again for a while, any other probs with speech can get referred at last lol xx

My son also had his first induction day at school today. I cannot believe how emotional i was about the whole thing and really felt myself welling up as he went into the classroom. It took me quite by surprise as i just wasn't expecting to feel like that, especially as I am used to leaving him, he had been in nursery three days a week since he was 8 months old.
I guess its another of those milestones that come along in our childrens lives and there will probably be a few more along the way!
