Subject : How Much Sleep Should lo be getting
Hi
My lo goes to bed about 7 miby just before and gets up about 6:30. Is this ok as my HV says she should be sleeping for at least 12 hours a night. She never sleeps for 12 hours or over and when she wakes at 6:30 she doesnt go back to sleep until her 11am nap.
Is this ok

I would say that was fine. I think you HV and other people can only give you a guide to sleep as every baby is different. You lo is getting 11.5 which i would say is nothing to worry about. if it was to drop to 8 or something lower then i would be concerned but anything from 10-12 wouldnt personally worry me :) My lo goes to sleep at 7, sometimes she falls to sleep straight away and others she can be chatting for half hour or so then wakes at about 7 so she gets anywhere between 11-12 hours a nite.

hiya my lo has 13hrs per nite and 1 1/2 hrs nap in the day,she has allways been like that...it doesnt really matter so long as they are getting 11-12hrs and are not grumpy due to lack of sleep...like annarule said all of them are different so i wouldnt worry.x
