Couldn't read and run but I really don't know the answer - sorry that's no help at all!
I would guess it would be fine to give a new born dose as from 37 weeks a baby born doesn't get classed as premmie anymore - does that make sense??!
But that is a pure guess!!!
Glad you are home wiht him now!!!

So glad to read you are now home your little man, he must be doing really well.
You just gotta get on with it eh....... I came home with my lo when she was 3 days old after a section and having sever pre-eclampaia and she only weighed 4lb 8oz, I was terrified !! Did not have a clue......... 18 weeks later we are still flying by seat of our pants to be honest but we are getting there !!
Lexi was born at 37 weeks which is not classed as premature baby, but at our 8 week check our doc prescribed us infacol so she would have been 5 weeks old if born on due date (does that make sense?) I think it should be okay but maybe call docs if you unsure to confirm. Baby massage will help wind, worth seeing if there is a local class.

Yes, you can give infacol to premature babies. My little boy was born nearly 8wks early. He's nearly 4wks now and I give him infacol because he's also really difficult to wind. I'm not surprised mind you because he should still be in my belly!
The liaison officer at the hospital said infacol would be fine but you shouldn't give prem babies as much as newborns. Usually you give newborn/full term babies the whole pipette but what I do is I drop a tiny amount on to his tongue and let him lick the pipette (only a little bit though).
I know how you feel though. Having a prem baby is such a shock and we had nothing ready for him. But yeah, you should just go with what you think's right. If you need to give your little one medicine just half the amount until he reaches his due date. That's what I'd do.
Hope this has been a bit helpful eventhough! Good luck

Hi babe my ciaran (now 8weeks) was 8weeks early and really windy / colic. my first baby too but thankfullly i learnt alot from the midwifes here in ireland and they showed me a few things.
i didnt use infacol or anything like that as they said he was too small.
Apart from winding him the classic way where you sit them on your lap rub their bacl clockwise and patt, it also help to have one hand under their chinolding it up and with the other keep his back striaght and wind him in circular motions, as in rotating his hips round and round (like as if you were circuling a hulahoop on your hips its the same motion).it helps to get out the trapped wind under the ribs. second idea is lye baby flat on your knees and rub inn small circular motions with your two midle finger on their ribs and stomach area. if you see lo crunch up its because your touching an area that has wind, so keep doin it for a few minutes an then sit lo up and patt their back again.
im not saying they are going to work but they worked for my little guy and he was so badhe would take 30ml/1oz and then you wou;d be trying to wind him for like 30minutes just for him to take more. xx
