Subject : afraid my babys going to be early

hi mummys and mummys to be

not sure if there are any mums out there who can relate to this topic or have thought the same thing and its happened to them.

im about 27 weeks pregnant and the baby i so active its unreal,i feel like i can feel her turning around but i have such a starnge feeling shes going to be early, ive already been told she quite big yet i have the most compact little bump,im only small boned but i hear when your smaller the baby has more room to hide as theres not as much water.
But i have this feeling shes going to be real early as i have pains sometimes and just dont know why but have this real sense shes almost ready!!
my friend who was early with her 1st child by 1 month said the same thing, she just new the baby was ready and would be early.
has anyone else been through this or going through the same feelings, its really scary as im worried im going to give birth at work or somethink!!!

thanks barbiebump XXXX Confused

I made the mistake of thinking my son was goin to be early as I worked out my dates differently to the doctors! Felt movements early had braxton hicks from 28weeks really strongly but always measured small- he was 5 days late!
This time I'm expecting a late arrival again!!

Is there any reason why you may give birth early ie high blood pressure? If everything is ok generally with you and the baby is ok then it should all be fine.I had my 1st baby at 29 weeks and although he was in special care for 6 weeks he is now a bubbly 2 year old with no problems whatsoever.
I think most mum to be's are very anxious around this time, speak to your midwife if you are really concerned about things.

Hi Barbiemum
has the baby suddenly become very active or has it been like it for a while?
Mums often find that babies become less active before birth so she will probably stay there for a while longer.
However, if a baby suddenly becomes very active, it is always worth getting checked out to make sure baby is not distressed, but things are usually ok.
Take care,
maria x
