Hiya. Just looked up Variflow on the Tommee Tippee website and it says:
Variflo teats mean you don’t need to go down the slow flow, medium flow and fast flow route as the cross cut in the Variflo teat opens according to the strength of the baby’s suck.
So they will be the only teats you need to buy

Hey

I wondered the same thin so I bought a couple of fast flow teats to compare to my variflow. WELL...they were rubbish!! The teat just caved in under the pressure of Bella sucking! Will def stick to variflow from now on!

I found the opposite to lucy82, my lo didn't get on with the variflow teats at all and much prefered the medium, then fast flow. With the variflow teat he used to get terrible wind that you just couldn't get up.

I never used variflow teats so can't help on that one but just wanted to add that you usually need to change your teats every month or 2 anyway because they get worn and broken. Thats what i was told to do anyway! And once, the hole in one of our teats had become worn and was slightly bigger than it should have been, i only noticed because my son got covered in milk when he drank it because it was coming out too fast! lol
