Subject : OMG - She almost did it!

Chloe went 9 hours between feeds last night - between 7.30 and 4.30am this morning! she also slept for 8 hours straight, without waking (had to check she was stil breathing cos so unusal!). i think it is her sleeping bag - she seems to really sleep well in it. on top of all that, she had a feed at 1.30pm yesterday and didn't have another until the one at 7.30pm! she took 7oz at 7.30pm tho!

I woke at 3.50 and realised neither of us had been up with her in the night,. i then couldn't sleep cos i guessed she would wake sometime soonish. couldn't quite believe our luck!!

not banking on it happening again any time soon tho - think it was a fluke! so proud of my little girl tho!

That's excellent news lara, I hope it's the start of things to come! The sleeping bags seem to work well I think, Henry sleeps well in his one too!
Hope you have an equally good night tonight!

Yay! Lucas has been in a sleeping bag since day 5 and has always slept well. I wasted so much money on sheets and blankets! I'll know next time! lol!

Hope she does it again tonight!

Great news! Evie loves her sleeping bag too. Been in it, in her travel cot for last week or so and is miles more settled. She's gone from 7pm to 6.30am since then so am well chuffed. You watch, cos I've stayed up late tonight (usually in bed by half 9!!) she'll be awake at 4 for a feed!!!! Going to bed now, goodnight ladies

she did it again!!!! - last feed 7.30ish, down about 8-8.30 and slept til 4.30!!! i so did not expect it at all!!! don't know what has suddenly changed but something has. don't get what difference the sleeping bag does but I'll go with it anyway! i would have used it sooner but she was just so tiny, it has quite a big hole at the top and think she might have slipped through! now she has grown so much she can use it. also with her being in and out of hospital so much she didn't get much use of anything until recently.

hope this continues now cos would be lovely but not counting my chickens!

So did Evie! Went from 7pm to 7.30am, I'm so proud of her! Big brother woke daddy up at 5.50am which I found quite amusing.

Lucas goes between sleeping from 7.30 to 3.30, 5.30 or 6.30 then sleeps again til 7.30. Didn't mind he was up at 3.30 today since my boobs were sore and needed emptied so he did me a favour.

lucky lucky lot!!! my kids never ever sleep through till they are about 6 months and even then its sleep training.

Amelia goes down about 8.30 then wakes at about 2am then 5 then 8.30. Not bad I suppose but would prefer to drop the 2am asap. Last 2 nights tho she woke at 12 ish then 4ish...cant work out why at all as she feeding lots.

My Aimee is 9 weeks on friday and she has done that a couple of times, has a feed at 7 and goes til 4am. But why is it if she has the feed at half 9to 11pm she will still wake up at 4am?? Then back to sleep til 6? Haha xx

thomas will usually go up into his cot at 7-8 then wake about 12-1am then again at around 4-6 so its still varies but thats not bad considering when we first brought him home he was feeding every2-3 hours day and night xx

I'm off to by a sleeping bag tomorrow..Ruby is still small at only 8.8 but I think that its right that we can use a sleeping bag at that weight?
She is still in her moses basket, can use a sleepybag whilst in moses basket?

We had a couple of nights where Ruby went from 11pm till 4.30am...which I thought was amazing, ooohhhh 9 hours I can't wait till that happens!!!

Yup, they can be used over 7 1/2 so should be fine. Lucas was only 8lbs when I put him in his.

well she went 9 hours between feeds again - 9pm to 5am- during the night so nudging nearer the 12hrs mark. she cried a couple of times in the night, got up, went into her room and by the time i was in there she was sound asleep again! must have been a bad dream or something.
