Subject : Diet starts tomorrow
Hi girls, my hubby has gone away for a 9 day training course and i thought that while he's gone i'll eat really well and get on the treadmill every day and see if i can lose the last 5 lbs before he gets back.
The problem is i had a family block of Cadbury's in the pantry that i didn't want to keep hanging around to tempt me through the week, so i ate the whole thing!!!!!!!
OOOOOOHHHH, i don't feel well, lol.

lol! Thats my one saviour that you can't buy cadburys out here otherwise I would be totally doomed!!
I've been really trying hard the last few days, now the better weather is here I want to be able to fit into more of my pre pregnancy clothes. The last half a stone is proving so hard to shift! I even tried doing aerobics to nursery rhymes yesterday lol! I weighed myself this morning and I have put on weight?!! I don't get it, I have totally cut out the biscuits and swapped them for bananas and am not snacking between meals. I have never struggled to lose weight like this before, it is really depressing!
Plus my energy levels are terrible, despite getting more sleep now Bren is sleeping through longer, I just feel exhausted and achey most of time.
Any miracle weight loss plans would be great to hear about right now! x

Good luck Shell! If I had to look after all 3 kids on my own for 9 days I'd either lose at least a stone running round after them all, or drown myself in choc n vino once they were all in bed in relief!

The problem with nice weather is I by loads of salad stuff - put in the fridge and forget its there as I get the choc and crisps out of the cupboard. 1 week later the compost is full!!!
I was really lucky with Sam and just seemed to put on baby weight - so I now weigh the same as I did b4 - but the shape is completely different - so none of my old clothes fit me anyway! - Good excuse for new summer wardrobe.
Emily gave Sam some of her Ice cream on Monday - he loved it and I went into panic over what sort of bateria there is in an ice cream!!!

Well, I was really good today and did 40 mins of my aerobics DVD. Feeling loads better for it and I haven't been pigging out either, not bought any biscuits so there is none in to pig out on!
Just got to keep it up now!!

Hmmm, well it all went down hill yesterday. Despite doing some sit ups in the morning it was Norwegian National Day and they make a big thing of it and have parades in national costume and bands playing etc. So we went into the town to meet some friends and watch the parades (Bren was mesmerised by it all!) but unfortunately while out I accidently ate a hot dog followed by 2 pieces of cake and half a snickers ice cream. Think that pretty much cancels out the aerobics I did the other day, and then some!! Trouble is they do this fantastic marzipan cake that is like a light sponge with layers of cream and rasberry jam with a layer of marzipan over the top. It is so yummy I just couldn't resist!!
We're going over to a friends this afternoon and they always have really nice cake too that they offer with coffee. Damn Norwegian hospitatlity - I am so doomed! x

OOhhh Liz that cake sounds yummy!!! I wouldnt be able to resist either :) My diet isn't going very well either, I havent had time to have proper meals so have been snacking a lot and not having set meals, also my oh has been away on a course for 2 weeks and left me loads of chocolate as a treat! Needless to say it didnt last long, I have NO will power lol The only good thing I have been doing is going out for walks, the place we have moved to has 3 beaches and a harbour so lovely long walks along the coast.

Back on the wagon tomorrow, i'm still hoping for the 5 lbs, lol.
Good luck all, Shell.

Wouldn't say I was following a diet, just stopped buying biscuits, crisps etc and cooking healthier meals. Trying to have a drink when I feel hungry to cut down on snacks. And then just making more of an effort to go out with the pushchair, some sit ups every day to help tone the muscles up, and my aerobics dvd a couple of times a week. Its all great unless I go out and get tempted by cake - as you say it would have been rude not to!!
Must say though I weighed myself this morning (to make myself feel even worse for eating the cake!) and I have actually lost weight?! Hmm... have I found the secret diet we have all been hoping for? Hot dogs, marzipan cake, apple cake and snickers ice creams ... that's my kind of diet!!
I was very good this afternoon though and didn't have any cake at my friends house, bet I will have put weight on tomorrow!
Charlotte - back away from the cupboard and put the crisps down! =)

I've just been trying to eat healthier but am planning on joinging slimming world once i've got the will to do it prop. I did this when I was a bridesmaid couple years ago and lost 3 stone in about 6 months. Just need to stop ringing for takeaways instead of cooking.
