Thanks Dee!
We are off on sunday but am in proper panic mode at the mo! Hubby made me face the piles of bags and start packing properly and now i can't stop things going round in my head. I hope i don't forget something!
Am buying a travel cot tomorrow (initially he was going in a box with blankets but i'm not happy with the idea now). Half price winnie the pooh from argos, i'm hoping it's not going to be too heavy. Have agonised over whether this is better than a pop up samsonite one (hence leaving it to the last minute). Decided on the first in the end that we can also use it when we get back as a play pen. Anyone else got a travel cot? which one? Any advice would be welcome!
Alex has his jabs tomorrow so hoping he will be settled by sunday, if not i'm packing calpol. Also have the HV so will find out how much weight he's put on and length as he looks really long now!
Don't know why i'm worrying so much, just feels like there's so much to sort out and remember. Dee you must be a pro by now at travelling with kids! I've only flown 3 times with ours (2 long haul).
Anyway better go, hope you all have lovely weather while i'm away and gd luck and have fun to anyone else going away too. I'm definately going to miss popping on here to check how everyone's doing! Speak soon...

Hi nik,

we have just bought one from mothercare, it's there cloud one £39.99. chloe now sleeps in it all the time.

i had a look at the one you are taling about.it is really nice but the only thing i would say is that they do recommend that you have one with sides you can see through the way round so you can always see them, especially when using as a play pen and to me from the picure it seems the ends are not see through. obviously has to be your choice in the end and you have to comfy with it.

take care hun and have a great time!
