I agreed with oh that we were going to wait untill 20 weeks (although I've be wanting to get things from the day we found out) but I cant help myself, I keep going into shops and even if I don't actualy buy anything I have to at least look, I've got the pushchair and cot picked out and a wish list on mothercare, i've found the wallpaper I want and I must have been on a million websites. I haven't got that mad in the shops yet, just a few neutral clothing bits - I love the white stuff with slogans on as well.

it's only a matter of time, I don't know if I can hold out untill 20 weeks.

I need to shop!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh lord, i started buying at week 4!!! a little premature but i dont believe it superstition! how is a few items of clothes going to determine whether my baby is ok??? I now have TONS and I mean TONS of the stuff, my dh doesnt know a thing... we are at 12 weeks but i am only going to admit my purchases next week - after the first scan - lol...maybe i am a little superstitious either that or i know my dh very well, he will be elated this weekend and its the best time not to get told off for buying dummies, vests, mittens and all sorts! - they are soooooo cute though!

I don't believe all the superstitious stuff either, the only thing that stopped me buying before 12 weeks was due to it being a risky time and that if the worst did happen i knew i wouldn't want to face a ton of baby stuff. i have had a load of ppl telling me I'll jinx it if i start buying before 20 weeks but it just really anoys me tbh, it's amost like they're willing it.

I just wish ppl would say nothing unless thety got something nice to say.

Sorry rant over.
