hi i' m sorry i cannot be of much help as fin didn't take to bf! but friends have... they do say milk is priority up till 6 months... how old is your lo? so if your nearly at 6 months then i wouln't worry too much. i notice your still feeding two night feeds, i was up until 2 weeks ago, we stopped the 11pm and strangly he then didn't wake for 4am feed... we do have to use dummy to settle him back off and will take a while won't happen over night, what should then happen is as he's not feeding in night then he'll be more hungry in morning and throughout day taking bigger feeds.

about the nosey thing... fin has become a nightmare with feeding he tries to sit up, get feet in mouth with bottle etc... ive found actually feeding him in swing or pushchair easier, i know you can't do that sorry!!! i did read somewhere that when they hit approx 5 months they become sooo interested in everything but feeding it becomes a nightmare and your advised to go somewhere quite... which isn't very practicle!

it's up to you about formula, only you can make that decision as a mum but i have to say well done for doing it this long.. i wish i could have even for a few weeks!

i'm sure he's getting enough within 24hours but now you need to try and get more in day and less/none in night!

has he ever drank from bottle? they say to offer cooled boiled water at night instead of milk eventually they stop waking for it as its boring, also not getting as much of the cuddles as would off bf, by doing this he'll be very hungry in morning and should take a big feed to start day!

sorry this has gone on a bit... xxx
