Hi Everyone!
Just thought I's tell you the quick version of Daniels birth. He was born on 6th March, 6 Days over! Had a sweep on Monday, but didn't feel like it had done anything. I was woken out of my sleep at 12:25am with a really bad contraction, followed soon after by my waters going completely. My contractions were strong, so OH rang hospital. We arrived at maternity at 1:15. Suddenly got the urge to push. Four pushes later and Daniel was born, at 1:40am, weighing 8lb exactly. We're both doing well, and were home by 4am.

Had a bit of gas & Air when pushing, but apart from that I didn't have time for anything else! XXX

i was induced on the syntocin drip and gas and air was great for the first part of the contractions but when they turned it up it just was enough so i caved and went for an epidural ~ amazing since im petrified of needles, but i can honestly say i didnt feel a thing, the most painful part was having the drip put in!!! god im a wuss!!!

lots of love to you both and cherish everyday and take lots of photos because the time will go so fast, i cant believe Lola is 8 months on tuesday!!! xxx

Hi hayleyspirit, Daniel is my second. My first labour lasted 3 hours, so I've been very lucky both times!

Hi Amy! Congratulations on the birth of Ruby! My recovery is going great - I feel much better this time round. My first was born back-to-back and I had back problems after the birth. This time round I was out doing the weekly shop the day after giving birth - so I'm feeling great! Really hope you are recovering well. I can't believe our babies are almost 1 week old!
