Subject : 34weeks pregnant and painful peeing!

Hi...Im 34 weeks pregnant with very swollen ankles...peeing lots and its quite painful, even when Im just sitting! Dont know what to do or where to put myself. Bath relieves for a short time, but Im very uncomfortable.
Last urine test last week was fine..

Any ideas very welcome!!!:?:?

hi. might be a good idea to ring your maternity ward, sounds like a bad urine infection. the swollen ankles could be looked at as well to check your bp. best to get it sorted asap . let us know how you get on. take care.xxxx

Thanks for your advice...will phone community midwife.
Bp and urine was fine on Thurs. Is my first pregnancy, so advice much appreciated. cheers x

water infections are so easy to pick up, and they can bring on early labour, any signs of a water infection like stinging when at toilet you should see ur gp or midwife. i know all about this, i nearly had my twins at 27wks due to a water infection, so i know the importance of getting it checked. i hope all goes well

Hi hope everthing is ok, i think it sounds like a water infection so defo speak to midwife! If not have you thought it may be thrush ive had it for weeks and it hurts/burns/stings all the time and is worse when i wee this is less serious but you will need to get it seen too as it can get worse or even develop into a yeast infection if you cant see your md i would get an appointment with you gp good luck Sophie 33wks today xx

ur urine can change like the wind hun so jus coz it was fine on thursday it could o changed thursday nite its a nitemare i no coz they kept me in hospital over nite the same day i had mw as durin the day my urine was fine but wen went to hospital had high levels of protein in my urine so they stressed over pre-eclampsia but thankfully thinks were fine
