Subject : how to treat a burn

I was putting the iron away yesterday and burnt my arm on it. I put my arm under the cold water tap for about 3 mins.Guess what i am asking is do i leave it open to the fresh air or cover it up with a bandage as part of it has blistered and i keep knocking it picking the kids up and stuff.Plus its still quite sore.
Never burnt myself before and i dont think its bad enough to go see the doctor.
Thanks
Andrea WhateeeEver!

Hi Andrea

On first aid courses they tell you to leave it open, the blistering its part of the healing process and you shouldnt deliberatly pop them as they are actually doing good by fighting infection and killing germs. but really should avoid covering it up if you can
