Hi, I have these as I lost lot of blood when Neve was born, apart from making me constipated they are fine however the symptoms of Anemia can make you feel pretty awful - could it be that rather than the tablets thats making you feel ill?

I have been taking these since i was 18 weeks now 36 they do make you a little constipated but other than that i have had no other symptoms, i actually have to take two a day as iron so low. The only problem i have is getting them out of the packet :) Hopefully the sickness will pass, just take things easy for a while

Hi everyone,
I'm now 34 weeks and have been taking them since the end of last year. I've not felt unwell, although I've had a great pregnancy with no morning sickness.
You do know you should avoid taking them at the same time as tea, coffee, milk or eggs, as it will make absorbtion less efficient: see the notes on the leaflet.
Ask your midwife if you are concerned.
As for getting the tablets out of the packet, I find using my fingernail or asking my husband to fetch it with a drink usually works...
