I'm 24 and have three children,I do get judged I had my first at 18,it annoys me because I am married,my husband works full time and I am a housewife,we own our own house and don't expect anything from anyone we chose to have three children so we will take care of them,I think it's up to the individual to decide,obviously I do not condone underage or careless sex,but if you are in a stable relationship when you are 16 or 17 then it's up to you.

I'm 27, just recently married to a man that I love dearly and expecting our first baby.

A lot of people have told me what a nice age 27 is to be pregnant, but I think that as long as you're ready, it shouldn't really matter what age you are. The exception in my opinion is woman who have children at 63. No matter how active the woman is at 63, when that child is 10 she will be 73!! I don't think that is fair on the child.

Hi ya, im 22 pregnant with my 1st baby, it wasnt planned but were both very happy, we have just got engaged & buying our own house, Just getting it right as we want it.We are apart at moment as we live 4 hours away, its very hard being apart at this time,I will be 23 when i have my baby as its my birthday on wednesday, Cant wait 2 be with my o/h 4 ever, I think 63 is far 2 old 2 have a baby as she wont be able 2 enjoy the baby & the 11 year old girl is still a child herself.

i am 23, im dueon 17th august with my first baby but ill be 24 on the 20th august.x

i'm 20, 21 on the 17th Junes and i got pregnant with my girl Grace when i was 19. She is now 14 months. i do wish i had waited because she wasn't planned but now that ive got her i wouldnt change it for the world. Ive never been much or an academic or career girl, id much rather be a mum and let my fiance Mark go out and work!

I'll be 41 on baby's due date of 4th Dec and already have a 12 & 8yr old. Personally I think anyone over 50 should think long and hard before having a baby, and being a pensioner and pregnant is just wrong!

I was 18 when i first fell pregnant with lucy and me and my partner now have 3 girls lucy 3, jess2 & kate1. (( jess an kate are both disabled)) he is their dad people do give funny looks as we arn't married (( it's not a big thing to me but i still call him my hubby lol)) but we are happy we have our own home and business as well as I work another job in the evenings(( i leave when are girls are in bed)) I am 23 now and recently lost twins ((m/carridge)) as soon as we are ready to start again we will be doing i love my children and I do want a big family but as for age if I can still have babies i know I will I feel as though I was made to have babies!! anyone else feel like that?

Age is irrelavent really. Its about attitude and maturity.

I had my first at 21, 2nd at 24 and then 3rd at 35 and 4th at 36!!!!

It was easier physically to have my older two. I fit into size 8 jeans within days of birth and coped so much better with sleepless nights. However, I did not give them the time I should have as I was too busy ironing, housework and watching soaps etc.... I was housework obsessed! Now I don't care so much so long as things clean (ish) and the odd handprint on doors and windows are just reminders of how lucky I am to have had my youngest 2 when my husband and I thought we were done with babies! (my 3rd was a shock as using condoms, 4th we planned so playmate for him). I am enjoying my youngest so much more this time and sit on the floor playing with them and read and walk in the park or go swimming. We are financially very secure and I send my ironing out to be done so I don't worry about it. I take them to playgroups and we are not so bothered about nights out so the kids dont suffer when I have hangover and want to lay on sofa all day.

I think the argument for when to have babies is not black and white. Its when YOU are ready regardless of age. HOWEVER anyone under 16 or over 50 should think twice or be more careful. A child needs a childhood and under 16 is still a child to me. I know these things happen (my own daughter is 16) but more effort should be made by parents to educate their child and more should be done by school like handing out condoms and giving sex education early and having a teacher who kids can talk to in confidence about sex etc.... Over 50 is just too old. When the kid is 16 they will be 66 and they will probably never see their grandchildren which is sad as a grandparent is such an important part of a kids life.

I would like another but if it does not happen before 40 then I will giveup and hubby will get snipped!!!!!!! (personal decision not anti ageist. Also, dont want too big a gap between 3rd 4th and 5th child)

Good Luck all you young uns and hold head up high....you are bringing life into the world so be proud. If it was unplanned try better and safer contraception. Talk to your health visitor about it. If you are over 50 then think about the baby and NOT just yourself.

I was 17 when I fell pregnant with my son Reuben who just turned 1 last Wednesday I had him when I was 18 and am now 19. He wasnt planned but mine and my partners reaction when we found out I was pregnant was positive and I still think my son is the best thing that has happened in my life we have a nice house in a nice estate and are quite well off despite being young parents everything has worked out in the best possible way. Not all young parents are like the stereotype we're labelled with and actually Im sick of older people asking how old I am! An older mum wouldnt be asked that because it would be considered rude!

i am 21 my first is due on christmas day. i have a little feelin inside me that i am to young but i couldnt imagine not beening pregnant now i think about it all the time. and now i have felt the baby move it makes it more real.

I fell pregnant with my first son when I was 16, and had him just before my 17th birthday - I'm now 19 and pregnant with my second son due in October, I will be 20 next month so won't be a teen mum twice lol!

I have been with my OH since I was 15 and him 17, and we were due to get married this June, but postponed to next June due to this pregnancy.

I fell pregnant at 24 in feb after getting married in dec, been with my hubby for 9 years. Im now 25 (hes 27 in aug)and im now 26+4weeks pregnant. We both have careers and are really happy and feel that the time is right for us to start a family.x

I was 18 when I was pregnant with my 1st, 26 with my 2nd and 32 with my 3rd. I am planning to enjoy this baby more as I was sad to quit uni when I was younger and moped about a lot. N. 2 came during stressful time and was always sick. Things finally took a better turn when stressful issues were solved and n.2 had several ear ops to fix health problem.
Now finally looking forward to n3

hi all, i had my first at 17, 2nd at 20 and my third at 28 i feel ok about having my eldest at 17 i had alot more energy than i do now, i think it depends on the maturity of the person cos lets face it some people are still big kids even into their 30's+ x

Hi Im 27 and this is my first child. I am 29 1/2 weeks now and feeling good so far. I think 27 is a good age. I got married in Oct 06 and baby due in Oct 07. I couldn't wait to have children. Don't know how many I will have. I'll have to wait until I get this labour over me first.
