^^ Seriously lead27, that brought a tear to my eye!^^ I am very glad that you were finally successful in getting a baby of your own, and if "per-chance" you believe in an after-life (as I do) then be sure the babies you lost are safe with your grandparents. All the best to you and wishing you luck in conceiving a second.

Im 34 and 7 weeks pregnant with my first baby - my husband & I only got married 2 weeks ago (been arranging it for the past 12 months!) and it came as quite a surprise that we were to be parents so quickly!
We always talked about having a family right from the beginning of our relationship, and we really couldnt be happier - we are just coming down from the shock of it happening on the first attempt.
Good luck to all expectant mummies & daddies out there - I think the next few months are going to be the most fantastic experience of our lives!

Hi, my husband and I married in June 2004 and in the July we found out I was expecting. It came as a big shock but a nice one. he's 22 months old now and he's such a joy, we've been trying for another baby for 6 months but nothing as yet. x

Hi im 22 and 28 weeks pregnant, due in MArch and cant wait. We started trying in Jan this year and didnt get pregnant til July. It was quite scary not being sure if we were going to have probs and I'm glad we're having them sooner rather than later. I don't think age matters. My mum was 25 when she had me but 39 when she had my youngest sister and as far as I can see both are good times to have a baby. My dad was 59 when my youngest sister was born! But hes still a great dad. Age doesn't matter.

hi, i was 25 when i had my first child, 30 with my second and now i'm nearly 33 i'm due again on the 3rd of feb! It's definately hard work at any age! I think it's way out of line bringing a child into the world when your in your 60's. Being younger must be an advantage but not too young...ie ...a child yourself! Good luck and winter solstice greetings to you all!

Im 20 and my baby is due on May 2nd, my 21st birthday. I feel ready although a little anxious about what the future holds. I am with Beans daddy and we are so in love, but you never know what the future holds. We only met this year, and I have to say I was absolutely devastated to discover I was pregnant. We weren't stable, and had actually drifted apart. But after the dreaded 'telling him', all I felt was relief, knowing he was there to support me every step of the way, if not as my partner then as Beans daddy. And as it stands now we couldn't be happier and I could not ask for a better person to father my child. Sure I havnt done everything I've ever dreamt of doing, but at least this way I have time 'on the other side' (in, like, 20 yrs!) to catch up. And a loving partner and beautiful child to share everything with. I wasn't ready, and after a miscarriage and a termination, and recently being made redundant, it's gonna be bloody hard, but this is now the start of the rest of my life and I'm looking forward to every second.

Hi to you all.
I am 44yrs old. I have four children, aged 23.16.15. and 13 years old,and two grandsons aged 4 and 5 years old. I cant have any more children as i had to have a hysterectomy 11 years ago. i had four miscarriages as well and my body had been through enough. I would of loved to have had a couple more children. Now i am a grandma and i love it.

I am 43 and just found out I am pregnant. Most people think I am in my thirties.
I have two other children aged 17 and 20.
I am scared and frightened.
Will I cope. Can I cope. Am I really too old?
I am in early pregnancy so my hormones are up the wall.
I am tired and feel so sick. I feel like crying. I know I should pull myself together and get on with it. My partner is a lvely man who is so pleased and supportive.
Are ther any other older ladies out there that are pregnant. I dont know what tests I need to have or any risks involved.

Hi Yvonne,I'm also 43 and due to have my 5th baby in 2 weeks. My other children are 22,19,17 & 10. This one was a BIG surprise and at first I was in complete denial! I had a nuchal scan at 11 weeks to assess the risk of the baby having downs syndrome and was really worried but everything was fine. I was also concerned about my age but it seems attitudes have changed towards us older mums and everyone has been wonderful to me. I'm sure you will be ok too.

I am 32 and 24 weeks pregnant with my first baby, due in April.
Once again, I was focussed on my career in TV but I am not really looking forward to having a break and being a full time mummy xx

Hi, i had only just turned 20 when i had my daughter her farther left me when i told him that i was pregnant. I'm now 36 weeks pregnant with my second child and couldn't be happier. I got married in 2005 and been with my hubby 4 years. He has helped me to do all the things i wanted to do including an open uni course. So everyone is different in the way they want to live their life. Good luck to you
