I am 23 a single mum and very indep, and proud of the fact... my babies father will and does play a hugh part of our babies life, but it will be that is there 24/7.
i honestly think that you can plan and plan to have a baby but emotionally and mentally can never be prepared.
Having a baby is a big deal and makes every one think a bit deeper when a person is pregrant no matter how much money you have.
fantsy and reality are two differnt things.
I belive if you are happy in your situation who cares what the world thinks...

I'm 27 i was nearly 25 and had been married for nearly 5 years and been teaching for 3 years when i had my first baby. I was 26 when i had my second baby who's now 8 months old. I do sometimes miss teaching and i may go back in years to come in some way or another but loving motherhood and want lots more babies xxxxx

i was 31 when i had my first altho i had been ttc for 2yrs...i didnt feel ready before that and i had a termination when i was 18 because my career was just on track and i wasnt ready for various reasons...i dont think age really matters but i do think 12 its very early....and i do think that if you a little older you are able to cope better.x

I was 24 when I had my 1st, 25 with my 2nd, 28 with my 3rd, 31 with my 4th and I'll be 8-9 wks shy of my 33rd b'day when this one comes along.

Im 41!! lol dont believe it myself. I have a 20 year old daughter, a 13 year old son and a 4month old daughter. I had my first at 21 and she calmed me down too. It was not about me and what time I wanted to go out till anymore and Im glad I had her then, its great now cos she is a tough and ambitious woman and we have a great laugh together and talk about all sorts of stuff! xx

im 17 i was 16 when i conceived. im now 24wk+2 and i hate it when people judge me because of my age, just because im young doesnt mean i cant love and look after a baby, im in a stable relationship and my baby was planned and so was the one i misscaried in january at 12wk. xx

hiya! i was 20 when i fell with my first daughter and had her at 21. then we lost a baby at 8wks when i was 22. then i conceived a wk later with my second daughter and had her when i was 22 and im now 23 ! iv actually only had 10months of not bein pregnant lol but i wouldnt change it and im still with my fella who is the dad to both and we have such a lovely home and life that im glad i gave up my job even tho i enjoyed it ( i was a visual merch). im thinkin that i may want another quite soon so i can then go out and get a job. baby is only 14wks tho and iv been told to let my body recover for a while. oh yeah i would just like to add that my other half does work very hard aswel so wer not bums lol:lol:

I am 24 (birthday was on 30th July) so I was 23 when baby was concieved, we had been trying for 5 months and are in a stable 5 year relationship, we idolise one another! I really don't think age is an issue, as long as you are very happy with bringing up a child then go for it!!!

i was 10 days off being 25 when i had my daughter, i was 28 when i had my son and im now 30 and im expecting my 3rd in 4 weeks all of my children have the same father, we were due to get married april just gone but i was pregnant and a baby is important more than a wedding ive been with the father 7 years, and have a super realationship , hes a fantastic father we have a great home and no we dont claim benefits, we have a mortgage but were happy and thats all that matters

i'm 22, will be 23 in november, baby number 1 was due on 31 July.

I don't feel young I feel really old and people getting pregnant at 20 and under makes me think how young they are.. but really, i'm only a couple of years older myself... lol

hi im 17, i was 16 when i first got pg and had a mc and now im pg agn yeyyy! im not vicky pollard either. both my pgs were planed and now i cant wait to meet my lo in mid nov, i dont no the sex of my lo id rather it be a suprise but i realy want a lil boy. i live with anthony and cant wait to take our relationship further (marrige) hes my soul mate although a little older (29) hes the best partner in the world hes realy supportive and i coudnt live without him. katie 25+4wks xx

Hi i was 23 when i conceived and was 24 when i gave birth.

I want more children, preferably 3 more! Only when the time is right. Plus i've just had the coil fitted so thats 5 years of safety to finish my education :) Hopefully will have trained to be a nurse by the time the next one comes along!

I found out i was pg on my 18th bday with my first, he is now 2 yrs 9 months,

had my 2nd when i was 19/almost 20, - he is now 18 months

and my 3rd at 21 - he is 7 weeks.

all very close but i wouldnt change them for the world!!

Im 41 ! and although i'm over the moon about been pregnant! I worry constantly about everything ,even the stupid little things that are just part of the course of been pregnant! Roll on the 5th of november!

Kerry, I'm 43! (42 when I conceived) and this is my first. I worried about everything to begin with. 20 week scan was the turning point for me though. I have decided to relax and enjoy it now. I'm sure I will have more worries before baby arrives but life really is too short. I didn't want to look back and think I'd missed out on the whole experience. Good luck and enjoy! Julie x

i have been a stay at home mum since my daughter was born and im going to return to work when she starts school next year
my daughter is 3 1/2 and has autism, shes the most gorgeous girl
i have partner who is also 21 and a site foreman for a carpentry/shop fitting company and travels alot all over the world

Hi, i'm 23. Until I started using the site I thought (or felt like rather) I was the only person my age actually planning to have a baby. Most people around me that are my age seem to have no intention to get pg for years but me and OH have been together for 7 years and I think we've been lucky and done a lot in life already and a baby is just the next thing we want. We have a lot going on at the mo so back in April we agreed that we would not start trying until end of the year but the longer we wait the more we want to start. I started charting a month ago but this just makes me more excited!!!!! in the meantime i'm soaking up all the info from here!
