Subject : Northern Mums!

Hiya!

Seems like i haven't been on here for ages! It is amazing how quick the days fly by looking after LO!

Anyway, i was just wondering if any northern mums fancied trying to arrange a meet up?? I know that Lulu did an amazing job at trying to sort one out before the LO's arrived and dates got really difficult to pin down.

I feel i may start to go mad at home with LO on my own, Hubby is at work and family are really helpful but thought it would be lovely to meet up with some of you as you all know what its like!!

I am in Wigan if anyone is close by, or i am happy to drive to somewhere central, think the trafford centre was mentioned before??

Hope you are all well

Choccy x x

I too was thinking about this and would love to meet up. Im about 2 hours from Manchester though, but if everyone is closer to Trafford Centre etc i dont mind mixing it in with my xmas shopping. I did all my xmas shopping there two years ago in only one trip and apart from little extra stocking fillers i got the whole lot so LOVE the place!!

Obviously im on maternity, but would prefer if hubby came too so to help with Ollie. Weekends are good, but would be busy?? Or hubby has 2nd week in December off as its my bday. Are they any good for you?

Any others up for a meet??x

I am free during the week or at weekends! see what is best for the majority?!

I will try and keep this "bumped" so that people get to see it!

it gets stupidly busy at weekends up to xmas as people go for shopping, gets so difficult to park. i would say tues or wed would be better as people might take a fri or mon off to make a long weekend. i don't mind helping out with other people's babies, other babies cries never sound as bad as my lo's!

I completely agree about the weekends - Trafford Centre is a nightmare even now on a weekend, as it took me 45 mins to find a parking spot this weekend!

A Wednesday or Thursday would be best for me

Was thinking 11-12ish? not sure what everyone else thinks.

I'm a good hour and a half away and would want to miss rush hour in the morning and evening. Not the nicest drive over the pennines this time of year but worth it to meet you lovely ladies and the babies.

Either time is fine for me, Warrington is boxed in by motorways so anytime that avoids the rush hour is perfect
