Subject : Worried :(
Hi ladies,
I'm a bit worried as I had two small spots of pinkish blood on Friday evening (TMI, maybe) and this morning I sneezed in bed and I had this tremendous pain in my lower abdomen (where your womb would be). I haven't had anything since but the pain was quite strong, it took my breath away. It really felt like I'd torn something inside. I'm trying not to worry about the spots as there has been nothing since and it really was just two when I wiped. I'm also trying to keep calm thinking that that two things are probably not connected.
Anyone else had aches or pains when coughing or sneezing in your belly? I have my 12 week scan anywaytomorrow morning but I was hoping someone might have an experience to share before then and put my mind at rest
Hugs

Hi hun, I have had this a couple of times and I asked my doc friend who was very reassuring. Easier said than done but try not to worry!
Good luck for your scan tomorrow, bet you can't wait! xxxx

I have sneezing fits most mornings and it hurts, a bit like a cramping pain. Sometimes it hurts when I turn in bed or twist too much. I had exactly the same when I was pregnant with my LO so I really wouldn't worry. I'm sure your spotting was probably nothing too, especially as you have had nothing since. X

Thanks girls, that makes me feel a bit better knowing I'm not alone. Before today i'd had mild shooting pains sneezing but just this morning it was so strong and after Friday's small spotting it made me worry a bit. Anyway, thank god I've got an appt first thing tomorrow anyway so I don't have long to wait.
Am excited about my scan, yes (now a bit nervous too!) and I cannot wait to see how much he/she has changed and grown since 3 weeks ago. Will post pics :)
xxxxxxxx

ive been doubled over in pain twice whilst sneezing - it scared me silly but have since found out its where ur ligaments have been stretching and are already tender due to that and the sneeze puts extra pressure on them. Try not to worry hun - i cant wait to hear about ur scan xx
