Hi ladies

Just wondering how many of the following people are planning to take into hospital:

Nappies?
Maternity pads?
Clothes for baby? (what are you taking?)
Blankets/sheets? (if you are going to a hospital where you need to take your own)

I know hubby can always bring some more in if needed.

Thanks! :\)

I have packed all of this stuff except for blankets.
Packed four vests and two sleepsuits - heaven knows if this will be enough.

I have also packed an 'in the car bag' - we have a 3 hour journey back from the hosp so have packed extra nappies and sleepsuits, and maternity pads into that in case of leaks. Also got snowsuit and pram blanket for the car seat.

How many....

I have taken half a small pack of nappies in with me and put the other half in my other bag hubby will bring in if i need anything extra (we are also putting it in the car so we dont forget it)
I have packed a swaddling blanket and 1 normal blanket.
I have arranged Lizzies clothes so that she has her outfit for after birth (vest,sleepsuit,2 hats (never know how big her head will be!) and swaddling blanket.
then I have packed 2 vests and sleepsuits to go to the ward with me and 2 vest and 2 sleepsuits in "in car bag"
I have packed 2 packs of maternity towels in labour bag and 2 packs of always in "in car bag" (my husband is fairly shy and i wouldnt want to ask him to have to go buy me more so thought this way i will have enough with me or i can manage til my mum brings me more maternity pads in)
we have decided not to take a dummy but my daughter had one from 8 weeks so if need be we might put it in "in car bag"
other than that ive just got normal toileties and stuff. and have packed spare shower gel and spare towel in "in car bag".
dont forgot to pack a hooded towel for baby too xx

How many....

For my DD I took in her bag (I was in for 5 days with her)
A pack of Nappies and cotton wool
6 sleep suits and vests (I did change her a couple of times due to nappy leaks)
3 Cardigens
4 bibs
6 muslins
2 hats/mittens
I had a blanket that I received her into
Going home outfit plus vest and cardigan
Car Seat and knitted blanket.

My Bag consistered of
2 nightdresses
2 PJ's
7 pairs of Knickers
2 Packs of Maternity Pads (only used 1 as hospital were changing me for the first 24 hours as I had a section)
Box of Breast pads
Slippers
Dressing gown
Toiletries and makeup!!
Coming home outfit
2 nursing bra's (thats all I'd bought at the time)

I didn't take towels as I work at the hospital and knew that they provieded them so when I showered and bathed Ellie I had a supply.

I've not packed mine yet for this time round although I've put a few things in the babies bag. I think I will go shopping soon to buy some new maternity sleepwear as Im currently wearing hubby's t-shirt in bed!
