Subject : New to this and need some info please!

Ok so been on the pill for 8 years constant...my last pill was last Wednesday. At the mo am waiting for AF but no it won't be a 'real' period but what happens next? Can we start 'trying' or should we technically be waiting for 'real' AF?

Sorry if this is a really silly naive Q!

Really wanna conveive in Jan - I know i'm probably being totally unrealistic but a girl can dream!! lol! Smile

thanks for any advice xx

Hi

The only reason some docs tell you to wait for your first 'real' af before ttc is so that they can date your pregnancy more accurately. So as long as your not bothered by that then I'd say go for it. You are supposed to be more fertile when first off the pill - I know a few ladies on here who conceived straightaway. Personally the pill screwed up my body and it took me 14 months to get a bfp so everyone is different.

Good luck

CJ x
