Subject : Prams?
:\?blimey how confusing!
Promised myself wouldn't buy anything for baby until after 20 week scan but hubby and I were passing mamas&papas yesterday and got a bit over excited!
Started looking at prams. Discounted a number just because they are so big when they fold up. Quite like the Pilko pramette as it doesn't seem ridiculously expensive and seems straightforward.
Any thoughts, help gratefully received

I didn't think looking at prams would be so difficult. There are so many different ones it's ridiculous.
Just had a look at the Pilko pramette. It looks good and very reasonably priced too.

I liked the Joolz pram at M&P's but decided against it as I've not heard the greatest experiences about customer care from them (though they're probably fine but one particularly bad experience put me off!!). I think I am going to get a Silvercross, really loving the linear freeway. I got told to get it from John Lewis as they price match and apparently have excellent customer service after you've bought...
I have decided I want a 2-in-1 (a carrycot and pushchair in one) - apparently they can lie flat for longer in those carrycots than in the carrycots that are just a carrycot (in which they can generally only lie flat till 5mnths)...if that makes sense!! Before I found this out I wanted a 3-in-1 but this changed my mind!
It is so confusing though, speaking to a sales assistant in mothercare really helped me!!!

M&P is one of the few shops i haven't looked in!! For me being able to completely remove and wash the covers is really important as i am v clumsy and can pretty much guarantee that i will have spilt something on it within the 1st month! So I'm going for a bugaboo chameleon - might have a look at M&P too though. If i go for the chameleon, I'm tempted to get a second hand one as i could save several hundred quid and its completely washable!
