I'm not 100% sure but I don't think they're safe in pregnancy. I remember with my 1st I got a wooden massager from body shop and it was great. It was a wooden stick with 2 wooden balls on the bottom (oh did wonder what it was when I produced it for him to use on me lol) and u just rolled it across ur back and it really helped

I reckon they would be ok as long as they dont get too hot or too vigarous which I bet they dont. Id just check with mw to be on the safe side tho X

I would say no and certainly not in the first trimester, best to check with MW. Failing that you could always go to a salon for a massage, they should be able to do one designed for pregnant ladies xx

Im pretty certain you need to avoid all massage in the first trimester, for your upper body. You can however a leg massage though not on your feet (like with reflexology, this can affect some areas that shouldnt be touched). Same with the heat, this should also be avoided.
Of course, check with your mw though as they should be able to advise you.
