Subject : What are you buying your baby for Christmas?
Well i've started Christmas shopping already as I was far to excited to wait! He will be 11 months at Christmas and for his main presents we have got him a cute little mamas and papas snail rocker (picked up half price), wooden shape sorter, pull along dinosaur, sound blocks, lots of books!!, baby skittles, puzzles, a few bath toys and a thomas the tank ride on. He's also got a stocking and little fillers. He is getting a trike from my Parents. I am worried I may have gone overboard but as it's his first Christmas can't help but get carried away!
So what are you getting your baby for 1st Christmas? Oh this could be a bad post as I may get more ideas!!!!!

A car seat! :-)
Only joking!!! Daisy-Mae will be 9 months on Christmas Eve - so far, I have lots of books for her. I'll also be getting her some new clothes and lots of noisy toys! She is fascinated by lights and sound, so that's what we're going for at the moment! However, we also want her to have a trike for the Spring - she sat on it in Mothercare today and got pushed around the whole massive store by my hubby! She loved it! They say they are suitable for 10+ months, but at 7 months, she looked extremely happy in it!

George will be 5 months at Christmas but I don't think we will be getting him too much. We have a huge family that like to spoil him rotton and he already has a Bumbo & a Jumperoo as well as a pretty extensive toy collection already. I would like to buy him some 'That's Not My...' books as my neice seems to love these. I have already bought him some stacking cups, some bath toys and some big soft stacking cube things from M&P's. I was also thinking about getting him an educational baby DVD of some kind but not really sure which one. If anyone has any recommendations then that would be much appreciated!xx

We got a HUGE tigger from tesco the other day - every child should have a teddy bigger than them in my opinon, then we've got some story books to read to her and one's she'll be able to read herself in about 6 years time. Probably gonna get her a swimming float and swimming costume as well.

well dex is getting nappies lol! - I want a wee notions christmas nappy for him.... it counts as a present right? - Thats how I'm wording it to my other half.
Not sure if I am going to make Dex a stocking this year - I'm torn! I want to but he won't get it! lol - he'll just probably eat the stocking.
I have him a roll and play train bridge from toys r us and some wooden blocks. We've brought him a pair of PJ's for Christmas and I want to get him an outfit for the day.
A mum on netmums recommended this and I think I am going to make Dex one

Phew sounds like I haven't gone too mad! I know he won't really appreciate the Christmas stocking, but we will
LilMrsAverage, we have a couple of 'treasure baskets' which my LO has loved exploring. Recommend them, they enjoy them as much as toys, if not more!

Well Erin will be 8 months and I'm at a loss really. She has an older sister so has the big things like rocking horses, bouncers etc. I have had to throw away some of the bath toys we had for Freya as they went moldy so I will be replacing them as xmas presents and the walk over piano Freya had no longer works so I will replace that as an xmas presents. I will be doing a stocking as stocking are from santa in our house. Hubby has an older son who is a believer in santa so we have to really.
Kerry, Freya and Erin
