hi girls.

i have finally persuded hubby to try for number two BUT my sister in law announced this week she is pregnant and my sister is 25 weeks pregnant. i have spoken to my sis and she is so happy for us to start trying but i dont want my sister in law to think i am trying to steal her thunder as i said we werent going to be trying for another year as that is what hubby wanted so ifi turn around now and say we are trying she will think i am only doing it as she is pregnant.

im stressing about it already. she was 6 months pregnant when i got pregnant with Elle and i would kind of like to have a pregnancy of my own without anyone else being pregnant too but i dont want to wait another year! i could already be pregnant and worried about telling family already!

im so happy we are trying again but worried about everyones reactions :(

Do not worry about any other reactions, it's what you & OH want to do that counts. It may take you a few months to get pg anyway so you wont be stealing anyone's thunder in that case.

If we all waited to get pg in case of hurting someone's feelings nobody would get pg lol!

Aw good luck hun! I'd try not to worry what anyone else thinks. I'm sure your sis in law will understand you're not doing it to compete with her. Hope you get your BFP soon! And you too ccbmommy!

Firstly how exciting- hope all goes well!

I worried about what other people would say when we started trying and I fell pg with number 2 because my brother was getting married and my sister was pg- oh an bil was preparing to go to Afghanistan so it was all at once and I didn't want people thinking we were raining on their parade!But in the end I just thought sod them are we supposed to wait until its the right time for everyone else?-when its the right time for us.lol Was a bit upset about my brothers reaction when we announced we were pg as he turned round and said his wife would be upset with me because they had been trying for 8 months!WTF?How was I supposed to know and not like its our fault but unfortunately thats them all over all about self- and yes I do sympathise with them trying for so long unsuccesfully but I know people who tried for a lot longer before falling pg!

Anyway sorry for the ramble- lol please don't worry and just enjoy ttc and hope you (and ccbmommy) get your bfp's soon!yay xxx

hey.. i completely agree with the others... you should do what is right for your family first... good look to anyone ttc at the min i hope you all get strong bfp's very soon! and a happy and healthy pregancy x

yey whoop, hmm my hubby has wanted number 2 as soon as millie came out lol but i dont want to try for another until i pass my driving test and prob until millie is 2. i hope u r pg sooo exciting and so much easier now u know kinda what to expect! xx

i think it would be lovely for you and hubby to have another lo as it would meen that allthe cousins would be similar ages and grow up together. My sis and bro both have 10 year olds that get on great and the 4, 2 and my 1 year old all play together. And anyway as others have said you should do what is right for your wee family. dont worry bout anyone else, do what feels right for your little family, ds is 6 dd 16 months not trying not fell pg due 30/4. I do feel bad my sil is going through probs, my dad is terminally ill, my mum well isnt interested, but my friends have been great xx good luck on bfp, n timing is never right for everyone else hun x

Dont worry about other people hun, its yours and hubbys choice and you shouldnt have to change when you want a baby for other people.
I fell pregnant when my sister was trying for a baby and felt really bad but she then took a test few days later and she was pregnant lol.

As has been said, it's about what's right for you, hubby and Elle - no-one else.

I dreaded announcing my pregnancy as my cousin had been trying for over 2 years, and we caught without trying at all, but it was fine. I think if people truly love you they should be able to be at least a little happy for you, regardless of their situation (I understand that there will be other emotions there depending on their circumstances but there should be some happy feelings).
