Subject : has everyones babys rolled over?

hi girls was wondering if everybodys babies have rolled over from back to front yet, Eva has not and was slightly worried don't remember when boys did it at all. she has rolled from front to back and all other development seems fine. i know some babies skip thing like straight to walking without crawling but i want her to do it lol. she rolls on to her right side but never dares to go over lol. xx

NOPE, Olivia is such a lazy baby and im not worried. She hasnt even rolled from fromt to back yet as she hates tummy time and therefore hasnt had the chance. She rolls onto her side but not right over yet.

She wont stand either which MIL commented on the other day. She just has no intention of putting any weight on her feet and laughs at me when i try and get her to.

All babies develop at different rates so thats why im not worrying yet. She is very advanced vocally so that makes up for it LOL!

If you are seriously worried talk to HV xxx

Jason has rolled from front to back a few times and from side to front, but not from back to front yet. He's 22 weeks.

I wouldn't worry hon, they're all different!

LOL babylove.......can't wait to meet your little lady..she sounds just perfect!!!

nickyde...my little man is 26 weeks this coming Monday and has only just recently rolled from his back to his tummy and even though he rolled from his tummy on to his back a month or so ago, he seems to have forgotten how to do it again and can't get himself back off of his tummy once he's rolled onto it and therefore lays there and cries!! lol
They are all so different hon, so I really wouldn't worry about it.

xx

Abi does roll a lot, but she is also quite mobile and moves across the floor a bit like a catepillar. She learned to roll over in order to get a better view of the tv! (she is 19weeks).

I really wouldnt worry . At baby group all the babies are different in what they do. You can guarentee the ones that are first at doing something will be the last at doing another. Plus when they do master rolling over you really wish they hasnt as then you can never leave them anywhere ;)

When she is on her changing table she will lift up her bum and move over to one side, but wont do it when I put her on the floor!! Maybe i will change her on the floor and see if she then does it!!

Am not worried tho!

William has rolled from front to back loads but never back to front. He spends most of his time on his tummy though as he sleep on his front. Every morning when he wakes he rolls on to his back. He will be 20 weeks tomorrow.

Don't worry to much. Michael decided at 6 months (20 weeks corrected) it was time for him to roll from back to front. First day it was great, it was so cute, but by the end of the day I was hoping he would stop. He rolls back to his back on occasion, but most of the time I need to rescue him and put him back. And that goes on the entire day. I have no time for something else anymore. Luckily he is in his playpen for the daytime and he can not get out of that. He has no interest in standing or anything like that either. But he is able to sit unsupported for quite a few minutes when he wants to. (not always) He also is very very vocal and would not stop chatting. On the other hand he only laughed out loud twice. he smiles a lot, but he just does not want to laugh.

Every baby is different and does things at different times. I am not worried about Michaels development, because every week he seems to be doing something else. (finding his feet, putting his toes in his mouth, trying to get himself undressed, getting interested in toys, smiling at things when it first upset him)

Don't worry, relax and enjoy your baby.Times flies and when they finally do roll over, you were hoping they would stop.

Glad you posted this hun as i was thinking Jessica was the only one who hasnt rolled yet, she also wont stand she will do so for a second and then lift her legs and laugh. She is quite good at sitting up though last a few mins without support, i think they all develop differently XXXXX

Just to make you feel slightly more lucky. michael is now rolling over in the night, waking and screaming till we wake up and turn him around. Happens about 2 till 3 times a night. I was just used to having atleast about 6 hours of not interupted sleep. :)

Babylove Daisy is just the same! She just wants to sit on my lap all day and chat, I reckon she's going to be a right little gossip.
