Hi Ladies,

It's my first month of using CBFM and I'm on CD18, I normally have 35 day cycles, and I think I OV around CD 23, but I've not had a high yet?

As it's my first month I was expecting the highs to start quite early and to have a fair view of them before my peak (if I get one as it's the first month).

I've heard of people not getting peaks but not, not getting highs??

I'm starting to worry a bit now??

What do you think?

hi its my first month using cbfm and im cycle day 19 and im on 2nd day of high, but no peak...think it has something to do with the monitor getting to know your body/cycle, have u tried a home ov test? how long you been ttc? xx

I came off the pill in March - but have only really been trying for 3 months - although it feels like longer!

I used FR OPKs last month - I used the bumper 20 pack, But I don't think I got a peak before I ran out of sticks - to be honest I just found them really hard to read.

I decided to get the CBFM as I think I ov late as I've noticed a pattern with upset tummys and cramps each month - that I was putting down to maybe pg symptoms each month - now I actually think they were ov symptoms....lol!

I just thought I would have a had a high by now - was prepared for not getting a peak the first month, but not getting a high...

I have been charting my temps for the first time too this month, and have seen no movement yet, so i suppose that supports the CBFM!

I just have this horrible feeling that I'm not Oving.... don't know what as AF's are always consistant, but it's just a feeling.

How about you? How long you been trying?

it is just too soon, give it few more days it may be you have a short surge so the hight might not be more than a couple of days, so due CD 21/22

can i ask if the monitor is new or second hand? when TTC i bought a second hand one and as i forgot to reset i didnt get any first month,

other things could be that you are not getting enough urine on the stick, i found dipping in a pot the best, i always looked at the sticks after use too as the lines change as your highs and peak approach.

i had 40 odd day cycles and started my monitor later to save sticks as i never oved before C25

if you dont have any luck the advice line is very helpful x

Don't think I got a high using OPK's, I ran out of sticks too soon. I thought I did get a positive, but wasn't 100%, but looking back now I think it was too early.

I've not been pg before either........

Maybe your right piggypops and it's just too early, I just heard that people get a lot of highs on their first month of use.

The CBFM is brand new and I set it correctly too, it went from low to medium about a week ago, but has not moved since.

I just wondered if it was normal not to have a lot of highs before the peak on the 1st month.

I will be so pleased just to see a high!!!!!
