Hi ladies

For those that have/had dopplers, What one did you have? How much was it? and how long did it take you to find HB? Am thinking of getting one but not sure which one to get??

Thankyou Happy

I'm exactly the same as newlook i've got the angel sound doppler and i bought it from ebay for about £20ish.
I bought it when i was having my dd and found the heart beat at around 11 weeks, i borrowed it to my sil and still havent got it back yet so i havent tried this time round, i've got an anterior placenta so no idea if it will be easy to find or not??

Hello!

I'm an AngelSounds girl too! Got it from amazon at around £20 along with 3 bottles of gel (!), so about £35 inc posting. I found the HB at 14+1 which was the first time I used it!!

I got mine from amazon for £20 which included a bottle of the gel, which you really need for the best results.
I think we heard the HB at about 14 weeks. It was REALLY low down, almost on the pelvic bone but I found it after about 20 minutes.
I listen to the heartbeat once a week now and usually find it quite easily, but there is a knack!

xx

Hi there

I went for the 'Babysounds' one (got it from Amazon). It's a little more expensive at about £45 (which included a bottle of gel) but it can be used from earlier than the Angel sounds as it's more sensitive. It also has a digital display on the front that shows you the heart rate, which is nice and means you don't have to try and count the hb yourself.

We didn't buy ours until just before 14 weeks but managed to find the hb straight away.
