Well i was due 20th November, and because of prev preg (aburption = 8wk prem\) had been SO worried about prem again, but she waited until 37weeeks and made her entrance on Monday at 4.30am, the day before daddy's birthday!

havent had so much as ten seconds to get online to cream my new lol! as have been rushed off my feet with my new little daughter Leilah and my ds (who on recieveing a new trike from his new sister has decided she is 'ok!!!)

labour was crazy and fast. Had gone to bed about 11pm after a little intimacy with OH (sorry if tmi) and woke at midnight for a wee.........nearly fell on tiolet when i saw my show! Called my borther (lives closest - great babysitter lol) he came straight up. Woke up OH who kept asking 'are you in labour??' Contractions were about every 6 minutes at this point so i was pretty sure i was!

Got to hopsital for about 1.30am, Contractions were getting faster and boy were the gettign more painful than i had ever expierenced on my son! Anyways, midwife had a look and said i still had 2-3cm to dilate and they wanted to break my waters as my show had been quite heavy and they wanted to check waters for any blood etc.......Once that had happened, my contractions seemed to be every two seconds as far as i was concerned, OH said every 2minutes. I finally asked for gas & air and got through another hour panting and buffing away!

At 3am midwife had another look said i hadnt contracted anymore yet, it had been an hour!! So i gave in and asked for pethine injection (sorry spelling is so bad!) she left to get it and i felt sudden urge to go for it! Shouted at her to come back, and when she looked down she just looked up and said 'wow, that was fast, start pushign whenever your ready ...'

so out the door went the injection!!!! I pushed for half an hour and started to get upset as i was getting no where and as my only expiernece wa so ds birth i was getign worried as he only took 3 pushes!! I was in tears sayign to OH 'I cant do it' and in a moment of madness just went for it, gave one massive push and out she came!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry this is so long, i havent been out all week and dyign to scream from rooftops my little story!
It was so fast now that i think about it, I still cant believe she's here, although from her mighty little 6lb4oz lungs you cant really deny it!

thanks ladies!!!! so glad i had easy labour, well beside panicing i couldnt get the head out and crying, but hey i did it in end!!?? and it could have been alot worse! The storys i've heard over the years, i think im seriously lucky!! XXXGood luck to you ladies due soon!!!!! See you all over in BORN nov09 soon i hope!!!!!

Congratulations!! I too would love a quick & easy labour! Am thinking I might need to prepare myself for the long haul, just in case!
