Subject : Clomid
Hiya, I ve been trying for just under two years, ive had a lap and dye, apparantly my tubes arnt good, I now been advised that my overian reserve is low FSH of 11.9 and my options would be to try Clomid or IVF which I cant afford,
Never used clomid before so was wondering if anyone else had and what they thought? and is there any point

Hi Hon, I've just replied on your other thread. Clomid is usually prescribed for women with PCOS who are not ovulating regularaly. If the problem is your FSH and possibly blocked tubes, then Clomid probably wouldn't help you very much. If your tubes are a bit blocked, the sperm would struggle to get to the egg. I think IVF would be your best option, but you say you cannot afford that. Are you not entitled to anything on the NHS in your area? Iff not, it may be worth appealing, but I am aware this can be a long and stressful process in itself. Good luck xx

Hi, the fertility centre near me does research and egg donation, so they often offer the chance of half price IVF in exchange for some eggs, when yours are harvested. We cant afford it either, especially as it is no where near guaranteed to happen the first, second or even third time, so this is a godsend to us! Maybe ask around if that is an option anywhere near you? Good luck x
